Extremely high priced attorney associates, and partners that are even more unaffordable. I would not recommend.

I read the reviews of Mat: "best of the best", "look no farther [sic]", "hardworking, sincere", "true pro", "cares and wants to help", "your best interests in mind", etc. Based on my experience, those reviews are accurate, not hyperbole. We hired Mat to represent us in a gut-wrenching grandparent visitation case. Mat was recommended to us by a former president of the American Bar Association. Mat was the only attorney he recommended, and I can see why. We interviewed other great attorneys who had been recommended by those in the know, but Mat was easily the best. Mat demonstrated a superior understanding of the case law, some of which resulted from cases he won previously. He also demonstrated a deeper concern for effectiveness. Mat is a gifted writer. His legal briefs were crafted with a clear vision and a deep understanding of the law. He "dropped the mic" on the opposing attorney in our case. Unless you are an A-list celebrity, I do not think you will find a better advocate than Mat - intelligent, grounded, skilled, genuine, hard working. On a pesonal level, I miss our interactions with Mat. With regard to fees, Mat worked very efficiently and was more than fair. It was crystal clear throughout that his intent was to fight to help us, not to make money. Mat is good enough to be the difference between winning and losing.

350 consultation fee to pay to an “associate” then a retainer discussed at time of consultation. Once retainer is exhausted they charge by the hour. Lol all I was looking for was an honest attorney to help me appeal my unemployment back pay! By the time I’d be done with this firm I’d owe them more money then NJ owes me. Plenty of firms offering free 2 hour consultations.
