I met Matheu through a family friend who was a partner at his law firm. I had just been to Court with my former attorney for my first Post Judgement litigation. (I fired him before we even left the Court House). In that proceeding my ex wife’s attorney managed to rewrite my original MSA and parenting time agreements by introducing a Right of First refusal which had never existed before. In addition to restricting the amount of time I could have with my children due to my work schedule, my ex wife’s attorney was also able to persuade the Court to limit the time my children could spend with their grandparents and my fiancé now wife. To say I came to Matheu with a Mt. Everest sized mountain to climb would be an understatement. Matheu took my case running, he successfully filed a motion to reconsider to fix all the errors of my previous attorney. Matheu knew my case inside and out, answered every question and when we walked into the Court room it was clear he was by far the sharpest knife in the drawer. Matheu respectfully argued my case before a well respected Judge who basically had no other choice then to reverse her earlier decisions much to the dismay of my mentally troubled ex wife. As other people have correctly noted he has an unsurpassed knowledge of Case Law he also has a presence in the Court room that can’t be overstated. I’m writing this review in the hope of saving someone from the heartache I experienced by hiring the wrong attorney the first time around. If your looking for a family law attorney who can best represent you look no further then Matheu Nunn.

Dealt with Ford & Sandler. They did nothing to for my case. The only thing they did was charge me 15 minutes for every little thing. Including an email with only 4 words in it. They even charge you for when they speak with each other (or other attorneys in the firm.) They have no backbone to stand up for their client. All they do is convince you to keep the communication going so they can continue to charge you.
My advice - run away as fast as you can / do not hire them and if you did, find a new one. Trust me, it's never too late.

Robbed me Blind
I struggle as a single mother to make ends meet and needed help filing child support and custody. I could’ve done it through the state for less than $10 though my ex became hostile when he heard that I initiated the process. He threatened to take full custody and told me he already had lawyers involved and would take everything.
I relocated to this state and don’t have family or resources in this area. A friend highly recommended Dorothy Kenney for legal counsel. I trusted this lawyer and accepted a $250 consultation fee because I didn’t want to take any chances when my child was at stake.
During the consultation she told me my ex was avoiding child support payments of about $1K per month, which didn’t include any daycare or additional expenses. The minimum payments would be about $500 per month. She listed my options and recommended private mediation as the best course of action. She also offered to draft a child custody agreement and prepare documentation for a small retainer fee of $1K.
It was expensive and I was hesitant at first after reading the agreement because every correspondence and document had additional charges associated with the contract. Kenney reassured me that the documents submitted for preparing mediation would not be charged. I only wanted to make mediation as quick and simple as possible.
The biggest mistake I made is that I didn’t want to make a mistake. I signed the retainer with Kenney and she quickly racked up fees by corresponding with the mediator unbeknownst to me. I followed both her and the mediator’s guidance and provided status updates that were not necessary and only added to the bill.
I stopped communicating with Kenney and asked both her and the mediator to stop communicating with each other when I received a statement of $50. I sought legal guidance and received nothing. Kenney and the mediator racked up the bill with their own correspondence and depleted the initial $1K retainer.
I did reach out to Kenney on a couple of other occasions. The first was when I thought mediation was going nowhere and wanted another retainer drafted because court seemed like it was the only option. The second was when I thought mediation favored my ex. Kenney’s response to this was that I chose not to involve her in the sessions, which would’ve cost an additional $1,500 per mediation session. I knew at that moment it was all about money and nothing to do with my child.
Those two occasions cost me another statement worth $393.75. I paid my last bill and asked the billing coordinator at Einhorn to close my account.
Please, don’t invest in Dorothy Kenney at Einhorn if you care about your family and their future. The financial burden will only add to any heartache you’re experiencing and complicate matters. She’ll rob you blind.
*Note: child support was calculated at less than half of what Kenney estimated.

Mat represented me when my spouse filed a motion to discontinue my alimony. To say that I am thrilled with the work he did is an understatement. He did an absolutely amazing job. He recognized obscure legal issues that ultimately worked in my favor (something that attorneys I had consulted with prior to him were unable to do). He negotiated skilfully on my behalf. He wrote a brief that succinctly detailed the case law, statutory law and legislative history for the judge. He emotionally supported me, providing advice and a clear head, during a time that was difficult for me. He gave me valuable advice. And, he won me a settlement beyond what I had hoped for. Throughout the process, I felt like I was his only client, even though I know he had many others. He was always available when I needed him to explain a legal issue or to calm me down. I can't recommend him strongly enough. If he is representing you, you are in amazing hands.

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Brian Kenney for a small municipal case (although he also specializes in criminal defense in federal and superior court). He was extremely polite, understanding and quick to respond to any questions I had. Without hesitation I would recommend working with him!

I have just won my post, post divorce case. It was a very challenging and stressful case as there were many moving parts. Mat is by far one of the best attorneys I have ever worked with. His knowledge, preparation, communication, work ethic and his unique etiquette in treating me with respect and kindness make him a very valuable attorney. In the courtroom, he showed superiority during his cross examination. If you are lucky enough to have him on your side, you've already won. You will not only be in awe of his many skills but he will make the process as stress free as possible.
