I didn't know what to expect when hiring an attorney on my own for the first time. I was purchasing a home for the first time (a pretty big step) and I expected to pay an arm and a leg to a lawyer, most likely someone completely out for themselves but I felt I still needed to be represented. I normally try not to give negative reviews to anyone unless egregious. Definitely don't use this guy if you're a tenant. Obviously he doesn't "want" to represent tenants. I didn't even complete two sentences of what the issue was and he referred me to legal services cause "they're free". Then went on a rant about how "cost prohibitive things would be" and "not knowing what he should even do". Interesting that he doesn't know what to do, I forgot he said he was a landlord/tenant attorney, he should know the law. The reason he doesn't know what to do is that he didn't listen to find out what could be done. How would he know how cost prohibitive things would be if he doesn't know what to do? Told me "senseless not to go to legal services to see if you qualify for legal services". This after telling him I have money to pay for his services. Then went on to tell me they're competent, "I represent landlords and legal services does a pretty good job." Total waste of a phone call. If I wanted to go to legal services I would have called them. Shouldn't advertise that he represents tenants as he clearly doesn't want their business, seems he only wants landlords who can pay him money. As we know none of us renters can afford legal services, unbelievable! Call at your own risk!

Called this guy today for a tenant issue that I have going on in which clearly in writing and what he said is on my side. At first he was pretty nice and courteous. As I told him more what’s going on, he stops me and says I can’t deal with this or help you. I thought the purpose of a lawyer is to help those that are being taken advantage of. Guess with this guy it’s not. So call this law firm at your risk. Based on the 5 min discussion he doesn’t care too much
