When I filed for divorce my wife was part of the legal community so I knew I needed the best help I could find. Things got ugly very quickly. Michelle Cortez and her team were able to help me navigate through the process and allow me to keep a consistent schedule to see my children through the entire process. My mother had to get a divorce quickly so her narcissist husband didn’t put her in further debt. Michelle did a fantastic job getting it done as quick as possible while having to deal with him. I waited several weeks for a response from this office, and I was shuffled from one attorney to another. After paying several hundred dollars, I was told that they are already representing the party against which I have a complaint. They are neither responsive nor professional.

In full disclosure I was an opposing party... and this is simply my opinion, but I was left with some serious ethical questions about how they handled their side of my case. So much so I've considered taking it to the state bar.

The headaches and lack of representation. My sons mother kept my son from me in efforts to discourage my relationship with him. I was referred to Michelle Cortez. Although I have a long road ahead of me. Michelle has gotten me physical custody of my son and continues to fight for my rights as a father. One false accusation after another false accusation. Drama and chaos that my sons mother and her attorney have put us through and continue to put us through. I am confident that when this ends the outcome will be in my sons best interest.
