Jay was very cordial and listened to my concerns on our first consultation.

Paid the retainer, they do one little thing, charge you and cease all progress until you pay. Then as soon as you pay they make a tiny move in paperwork and charge you again. It’s been almost 3 months and they have yet to contact the other party.

Jay Goodman was formally reprimanded by the New Mexico State Bar Assn for abusive / deceptive billing practices, and the work his firm did for my family was incredibly sloppy and over-priced.

Due to a zero score not being available, I warn anyone dealing with this firm of "charlatans" whom have exhausted nearly $5000 for a simple divorce filing, is not only unprofessional but unacceptable as well. I will be reporting the firm to the State Bar of New Mexico immediately. This by far, is the worst experience I have had dealing with any type of attorney/firm in my life.

Over the last 3 months I have called multiple times and spoken to a few people. They always take my information and say they'll call me back, but they never do. The last time I called, I let the lady I spoke to know and they assured me they would mark the case as urgent and I would get a call back that same day. Here we are a week later and still no call back. I even tried emailing and still no response. I have a very simple task but they obviously don't want my business.
