I was attacked by a dog. The case was complicated because it happened in a state park, on the edge of one country where neither the dog owner nor I live. The whole thing was also rather traumatizing. This might sound childish, but Michael made it all better. He recognized that this was a serious injury and that the dog was dangerous.
