Words can not express how I feel about Mr. Michael Bersani. He is one of the most authentic & honest attorneys that you will find. I had gone through a very difficult period (audit with BCBS) that was triggered by a former associate. I knew this former employee had done this to harm me personally and my company. He had also breeched a confidentiality & integrity agreement, but was under protection of the "whistle blower" umbrella. After successfully defending my stance with the blues, my next job was to find a lawyer that had the knowledge to hold my former associate accountable for his malicious intent. It took me 18 months of interviewing lawyers & pitching my idea till I found the right man for this job. Michael Bersani was like a surgeon. He developed a detailed game plan that first had to prove to the US attorney's office that this former associate didn't have the right to be protected by this umbrella. Next Michael helped me become the first employer in US history to sue a "whistle blower" & WIN! When other lawyers laughed at me & told me to let sleeping dogs lie. Mike handled a case for me and my son and was always available there for me when I had questions. He was always professional and caring. Mike Bersani recently represented me in a personal injury lawsuit, which resulted in a settlement, on the fourth day of the trial. In meeting with Mike several times before the trial, I sensed he was a competent, kind, intelligent person. On the first day, jury selection, it was obvious what a remarkable individual he is. I would highly recommend Michael Bersani as your attorney. Michael did an outstanding job litigating my dispute concerning a land lease for a cottage which I owned on Owasco Lake. The land was leased continuously since 1945, the year the cottage was built. I purchased the cottage in 1984 with the one and only lease, signed by the original property owner and me in 1987. The dispute centered around one point: was the lease still valid, even though the land had since changed ownership twice? Although we lost the original case in Cayuga County Supreme Court, Michael prevailed receiving a unanimous 5-0 judgment from the Supreme Court of the State of New York, Appellate Division, Fourth Judicial Department in Rochester.
