I hired Mr. Zimmer to start divorce proceedings. It is attorneys like this that give the profession such a bad name. He happens to be a disgraceful and reprehensible person, who sat in his office and told bold faced lies. He required an exorbitant retainer but assured me that if I did not move forward with the divorce or that if circumstances changed any unused portion of the retainer would be returned. He filed a motion for divorce at the start of August. I called the office over a dozen times asking for help, but never received a call back. Many weeks later I received a 'form letter' email apologizing and thanking me for my patience. Almost eight weeks and still never having heard from him, I visited his office and let him know that I no longer required his services. He refused to come out to even speak to me. What a coward. His 'partner' told me that they were aware of how inappropriately my case was handled and apologized profusely. I was told they needed "a few weeks" to determine how much money from my retainer I would receive back. Needless to say I received back less than ten percent of my initial retainer. In essence Mr. Zimmer and his firm stole thousands of dollars from me. He supplied me with a fictitious accounting of absurd fees and charges for work that was clearly never done. I am over 70 years of age and was taken advantage of. Mr. Zimmer misrepresented himself and was not honest whatsoever. In addition I had never spoken to him after having hired him. He should be ashamed of himself. A complaint is being filed with the Suffolk County Bar association with regard to his despicable conduct.

First of all , 2/3 of these are fake reviews . I’ll send you the info and the way to check that validly via IPaddresses. Email me for that. This man was the most lazy minded people I ever me t. Just the non returned calls ( 9 of them ) alone was horrible . Didn’t even show up to court but sent someone who had the WRONG FILE. I am not going to bash him here . If you want to know you can absolutely send me an email and I’ll send you everything . Then you can make an honest decision. And it’s factual. Things I can actually show you. Tangible

I would highly recommend Todd Zimmer to anyone in need of a divorce attorney. He is professional, competent, straightforward, and honest. He made a very difficult time in my life easy and helped me through the divorce every step of the way. Thank you Todd, you’re the best!

Do not use this firm. Some pple say they have good results. Never use Stephanie from that office. Nice woman, but if no results or effort and very unorganized. Was billing my over 17k and no results in court 3 times, always unprepared ALWAYS. Was going to file to Bar Associate because it's criminal on how my case was handled. If you value results, time, and money, go somewhere else. I believe ppl write positive reviews are planted. Beware and be scared. Good luck. My wife's attorney is great, Mike Myers.

As time goes I truly realize how terrible Todd Zimmer is and how he ruined my life . Do not use Todd Zimmer , warning ! Most of the reviews are by women, I guess if you are man getting divorced stay clear. This is why. This law firm is the absolute worst. I hired them to defend me in my divorce agreement and they made the absolute worst divorce agreement in the history of man. Stay away don't ever use them . The worst ever! They didn't care about me or how things would be in the future . Horrible! I would give zero stars if I could ! The story goes on. So Todd Zimmer calls me. He doesn't ask if I'm ok or how I have been and doesn't take the time to do his home work and even find out who he is calling. He doesn't ask if he can do anything he just asks me to remove the poor google review. I refuse. So having never used my companies service he goes onto google and writes a fake review . A fake review that is how low and classless he is. I have attached a picture. Is this the person you want to represent you I ask ? You decide proof attached.

Totally mishandled my case, costing me over $50K. Then flat out lied, telling me she filed a motion that was never filed. I chased her for weeks asking why we don’t have a court date and I got excuse after excuse, only to find out from another attorney that nothing was ever filed!!!! Honestly it’s way too much to explain here on Google but stay away. Feel free to message me for more details.

Todd Zimmer is an exceptional attorney. He has a heart of gold, honest, diligent with keeping you informed and truly cares. I highly recommend him, his successful track record speaks for himself. You are in great hands 😃
