From the moment I walked into Zimmer, Matthiesen and Associates I knew that I had chosen the right attorney for me. The girls at the front desk were curteous and sympathetic...Mr. Zimmer was compassionate and patient. He explained things to me in terms that were easy to understand. He answered all of the questions I had and I could tell he was a no-nonsense kinda guy who fought for his clients and got the job done. Since I retained them to represent me in January I have experienced nothing but true dedication to my case and to Todd fighting for me and my children at every turn. I truly feel protected and confident with Zimmer, Mathiesen and Associates by my side! I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a lawyer that is prompt, professional, knowledgeable and dedicated to doing the best job possible for their clients!

Divorce Services I am on the defendant side of the case, but I feel that my review of his services can be applied to either side. From Day 1, Joshua made the process as comfortable as possible which is a very hard thing to do in life situations like this. He listened and let me explain, but never pressed to hard and made me feel uncomfortable. He was informative, understanding and friendly. He always made me feel like he was on my side 100%. I would recommend him to anyone. He stayed later to work around my schedule even after his own office hours. He responded to my weird texts on the weekend when I was confronted with a question that I needed an answer to. If there is one person that breaks the perception of the stereotype of lawyers it's him. He is that good. I wish him well and hope many people that read this review that are on the fence with their decision choose him as their attorney.

Josh is an honest person who really helped me understand my needs and how he could help me get what I was looking for.

I hired Mr. Kittenplan to help enforce a divorce agreement that was already in place. From our first consultation, I was treated with the utmost respect, care and concern. Mr. Kittenplan worked with me, helped me navigate the court system and choose the best course of action for myself and my children. He was not driven by his own monetary gain, advised me on several options, all the while maintaining my wishes to keep the situation as amicable as possible. If and when tough choices needed to be made, he was direct with his advice, explained each issue throughly and showed great patience. He was always easy to communicate with and all my calls and/or emails were returned promptly. In addition, his staff was always polite, helpful and easy to work with. Divorce is incredibly difficult, painful and brings forth a large amount of stress. Working with an attorney like Mr. Kittenplan, helped me breathe a bit easier and I always felt I was in the best of hands. I will always be grateful for his services and highly recommend him.

Josh has helped me through my divorce and has given expert advice while being understanding and kind at all times. He has been there to answer spur of the moment questions for me and has calmed me when my anxiety took over. Josh is a husband and a father who understands what parents go through on a daily basis and he makes the divorce situation a little easier to bare. He has an aura about him that makes you just feel comfortable when speaking with him. He is an understanding and considerate person with the title of lawyer. When I hear stereotypes of lawyers being thrown about by people I just can't relate, because I was fortunate enough to have one of the genuine ones. Josh Kittenplan has done a lot for me and my family. I have always been able to trust him and his advise. Not a Lawyer who looks to create "chaos for cash", which is more common then not unfortunately. I would recommend Josh as he is a true professional.

I was referred by Josh Kittenplans former client. I'm a mother of 3 kids with an X who decided one day to alter our child support agreement. After some considerable pleading I could see the only way to enforce my agreement was with a lawyer. A move no one really wants to make. My saving grace was calling Josh who immediately took my call and proceeded to discuss at length my issue. Within weeks my situation was resolved -and it was worth it! Josh truly saved the day. When I started thinking about a divorce I went to many law firms, and called a few. They all had the same first questions, what do you do for a living, what does she do for a living, do you own a home, do you have children. Walking into at the time Todd Zimmer's office, I was asked different questions and filled out an information form. The consultation went well, it was not a Q & A session it was them explaining the ins and outs of the divorce, the cans and cant's, dos and don't . When the consultation was over there was no pressure to sign, I was told what the fees would be and if I had any more questions Please feel free to call. I left the office educated and relieved that I found a firm that would be looking out for my best interest not theirs. I went back a few days later and had them start the ball rolling. I have to say I was relieved. Everyone in the office is courteous and friendly. Your phone calls always get returned if they are busy, and your questions answered. I would Highly recommend Zimmer, Mathiesen & Associates. Divorce is stressful enough. Go with #1. Don't make the wrong choice. Call the office and see for yourself.

The plece is to small to walking araund!

I feel obligated to write this, its the least I can do. When this all started I met with Todd. He is very endearing. He made time for me. Any day, any time. At some point, maybe midway, I met Stephanie. But apparently she was already on my case from day 1. They work as a team. I remember them calling me on speaker to discuss my case. She represented me at most of my court appearances. She told me what I needed to hear, not necessarily what I wanted to hear. I am in no way an easygoing person, perhaps Type "A" if you will, but that did not phase her. She is tough, both in and out of the court room. Contrary to how most stories end, mine had no surprises! Exactly what they said to expect, is what happened. No, I didn't "win", no one does. They made sure it was fair, and fought for you if it wasn't. Yep, divorce sucks. They are the BEST TEAM to have guide you through one of the hardest times, just like I did. I am forever grateful. A year later, they still answer my emails, whether its a question, or simply to vent...they are still there! How many can say that? How lucky am I....

Zimmer and Mathiesen has been my silver lining, they are the only Divorce/ Family court attorneys that actually care and made the courts understand that men also have rights. I have dealt with many other attorney's and have gotten no where until I found Zimmer and Mathiesen. They have helped me in my child support battle to make if fair and not one sided. HIGHLY RECOMENDED !!!
