Dave was a tremendous help in navigating the challenges associated with my family's trust and estate planning. My wife and I used David for our Wills and he truly cares about life planning. He took the time to sit with us and answer all of our questions. Plus we get to revisit everything with him yearly if we so choose to discuss any changes in our life events. David and his firm are great to work with.

David handled my mothers,estate planning years ago. He was thorough and very personable. Recently I tried to apply for Medicaid for my mother and was jumping through hoops trying to appease them. After dealing with Medicaid for 6 months I finally called David Okrant for much needed help. He, Janet and EVERYONE in his office were so helpful, kind and knowledgeable. After attending a seminar on estate planning conducted by Mr. David Okrent, I decided to use the services of his law firm. Mr. Okrent's legal background is quite impressive, and his associates are well-qualified and professional. In addition, his front office staff is helpful in scheduling appointments and relaying messages in a friendly and courteous manner. I have recommended his firm to friends and family.

Recently, my wife and I needed the assistance of an elder care attorney for some estate planning we were looking to accomplish. We had used David Okrent's office before, needing a Medicaid application for an elderly parent. After seeing the complexities of nursing home care and how compassionate and competently it was taken care of by David's office, we knew exactly where to go. We reached out to David's office and after some discussions on what it was we wanted to accomplish we set up a preliminary appointment. We live in Eastern Suffolk county and would have to travel to meet with him. He suggested that we meet at one of his satellite offices, near our home, which immediately made me feel very comfortable that he cared about our time. We had a lengthy discussion of our needs and financial concerns for the future. David arranged for the appropriate documents to be prepared in draft to be reviewed by my wife and I. After the drafting process was completed Mr. Okrent arranged for a meeting in his Dix Hills office to have the final documents signed and notarized. We were extremely happy with the end results and the professionalism of David and his staff in the completion of our needs. We would never hesitate to use him again or recommend his services to other family and friends. Coincidentally, I was recently informed another member of our family has already engaged his services.
