My wife and I went to Jacoby & Jacoby office in Medford in the end of August 2015 to find out about filing bankruptcy. We were given the details of the documents we would need to start the filing. The following week we returned to the office with all the information needed and signed the papers. We had a court date the end of September and were met by a Jacoby & Jacoby representative. The representative told us what to do when we were questioned and was there to handle any problems that might arise. That was our only court appearance and we were advised that the bankruptcy would be granted the end of November. We receive notice from the court and Jacoby & Jacoby in December 2015 that the bankruptcy was granted. During the waiting time we were contacted by one of the banks that we owed money to, which is against the rules of the bankruptcy court. We informed Jacoby & Jacoby about the contact and they files a complaint. The early part of 2016 we received a check from Jacoby & Jacoby for $500.00 which was the fine that the bank had to pay for the violation.
