Sheralynn Dow was referred by my previous attorney, if a competing attorney recommending her doesn’t speak volumes, what does? Out of all the advice my previous attorney offered, using Ms. Dow was by far the best advice ever given. Ms. Dow and her staff are just amazing. Her knowledge is second to none, she is tough but professional. When facing a stubborn former spouse who puts you in a desperate and hopeless position, Ms. Dow is who you want on your side fighting for you and your children. She is motivated and determined when you are her client. Her and her staff are readily available and respond in a timely manner when called or emailed. In the event she can’t get right back to you she will be sure someone from her staff reaches out to give you an update. Ms. Dow makes your fight her fight. She was so excited to tell me that the court granted my petition and “we won” that she called me after hours the night before Thanksgiving – I believe she called me from a carwash! Sheralynn was just as happy and excited as I was that night – that is the type of attorney you NEED for your family. Should I ever find myself in the position of having to navigate the Family Courts again, she will be my first phone call. I wish I could give her 500 stars on this review.

If you’re reading these reviews is because you’re looking for a good lawyer. Do yourselves a favor and look no further. Sheralynn Dow is great!! She is honestly incredibly and that’s an understatement!! She is super tough and yet, very professional and that’s what you need if you find yourself in a hopeless position in your life. You need someone like her who will fight your battles for you!! She really know her stuff and she will really have your back, it’s almost as if she’s fighting for her own family. Her entire team is amazing her office staff are so kind and sweet, Sheralynn and her team will respond in a reasonable time for whatever questions or concerns you have. You will have your own email portal so everything is safe and secure. If that doesn’t show how much she cares about her clients privacy and safety I don’t know what does. Before her, I had hired a lawyer on my own without reading any reviews. (so please take these reviews into consideration) It didn’t take long for me to realize he had his own agenda, and it seemed like my case was probably another same old case he had seen before, and he probably stuck to the same routine. But for me it was my life and I was very afraid and hopeless and it took a toll on me because it involved my child. It wasn’t about winning for me it was about being free and raising my child without any fear. I learned about Sheralynn Dow through word of mouth and it was God sent. Im not religious but, I do believe God helps you by sending the right people your way. I can go on and on about her and her team but I’ll leave it with this. Lawyer are expensive so if you’re going to hire one don’t waste your time and money on someone who won’t take your case too serious.

Absolutely amazing Legal Strategy Session. Adelola Sheralynn Dow has a powerful voice and is the type of representation one wants and needs. My experience with MS. Dow was great. Divorce is a extremely hard thing to go through, But with MS. Dow by your side, it does make things go smoother. She is straightforward and tells you like it is. Her rates are reasonable and she usually answers her emails on the weekends. Ms. Dow has you well prepared for the first day you walk into court. I am so happy I chose her. Also the review that she received with 1 star is actually from my Ex wife so you know MS. Dow has to be good.

My experience with Ms. Dow was great! My divorce was very nasty, drawn out and stressful but Ms. Dow always remained cool, calm and in control. There were times I was falling apart but Ms. Dow gave me the strength and courage to keep going because she really cares about her clients. Ms. Dow was/is the best family lawyer I've worked with. I have worked with three others, prior to her. She's accessible, knowledgeable and understanding; cutting right to the heart of the matter. And I figured all of this out from an hour and a half consultation session! Well worth the money.

She is by far one of the most brilliant legal minds on Staten Island. Her compassion and transparency has been a breath of fresh air in an arena which can be dog eat dog.
