I hired Thomas when I was referred him last summer, I have had experience with lawyers in the past that just did the bare minimum and I still was convicted. Thomas takes the time to hear you out and gets things done. I had a case where I allegedly was caught on camera painting the beautiful town of Asheville with more colors, Thomas got me off clean. After that I was caught in a domestic violence case where I was simply a victim but being charged wrongly. Thomas met me in the court room and had my case dismissed within MINUTES. I am blessed to have had such a great lawyer during this hard time in my life. He’s personable yet so professional, perfect mix. I felt on his level rather below him which was really cool for being a young person with a rough start. I will continue to use Thomas for any legal matters, let’s just hope that was the last one! I was charged with a moving violation (I would like to make clear for my professional reasons, this was not a criminal case). Mr. Amburgey dispatched the case quickly and effectively. I was very pleased and in the (hopefully unlikely) event I ever had a criminal case, he would be the first person I would call.

Having never needed an attorney before, Mr. Amburgey was reccommended to us after my son was charged with a pretty serious misdemeanor. Thomas is a very professional and skilled attorney. I was charged with cyberstalking by my wife a year after she left me. He was able to get the charges dismissed but the clerk of court failed to file the appropriate paperwork. I ended up having a warrant for my arrest and I went to jail. I had to pay a bondsman to get me out. I went to the court date and they never even called my name. It was a terrible experience but was not Thomas's fault. He filed an expunction for me so I have no record now to make up for my bad experience. In the end, everything worked out great and I now have a clean record. Great attorney and highly recommended.
