Due to my own stupidity, I waited too long to respond to a traffic ticket in the Asheville NC area. Upon realizing I had not much time to spare, I contacted Mr. Lanier who handled the issue for me. His communication was excellent, answering the phone after hours and telling me what to expect. The whole thing cost me about what it would have cost me anyway, but hopefully the lower speed Mr. Lanier negotiated will keep it from affecting my insurance, and since I am from out of state, saved me a trip. I would imagine there may be less costly representation available, but I felt assured with Mr. Lanier, was satisfied with his efforts, and would recommend him highly overall.

My son recieved a speeding ticket on I40 in Ashville. This normally wouldn't be a big deal but the fact that his license was suspended in FL for an old DUI was a big problem. Jody explained what needed to be done and explained his fees. Not the cheapest but not the most expensive either. He processed the waiver of appearance and was able to continue the case while my son worked on getting the Florida suspension cleared. He cleared the suspension but was not able to procure a license by the time we had to go to court but Jody was able to take what we had for documentation, get the no license charge dropped and negotiated the speeding ticket to a point where there are no points. You do get what you pay for when it comes to legal representation and Attorney Jody Lanier is worth every penny you pay him.

After having an outstanding marijuana charge and traffic violation in NC for a few years, I was moving back from CA, and needed my bond struck and to be put back on the calendar. Mr. Lanier did this with ease and worked with me as I didn't want this on my record. He got my case dismissed and kept my record unblemished! I made a payment through Pay Pal and shortly after he appeared in court for me and settled my ticket with no qualms. Two thumbs up on this firm! I've been through this process many times and it seems attorney's always find an "extra fee" to throw in there. With Mr. Lanier there was a one time fee and no addition. Thank you very much!

Jody explained my options clearly and dealt with my citation the same day! I learned a few things with the whole experience and was very pleased with the outcome. Mr. Lanier doesn't send you letters after you get a ticket. Actually that is one of the reasons I decided to request his service. He knows the Buncombe county courthouse and who are the best people to deal with there. You are paying for his knowledge of the people and the system as well as the NC law. He tells you he is not the cheapest but I figured you get what you pay for. it makes a big difference for my insurance in the future so paying for his service was well worth it!

I called an office in a county that wasn't able to represent me and they recommended I give Jody a call. He's accessible, affordable, professional and reliable. If I'm caught speeding in NC again, I'll be calling him.

I would HIGHLY recommend Jody Lanier. He is communicative and returns emails and phone calls promptly. He knows the law and looks at all angles. I appreciated his listening to my concerns and looking at all options. He did what he said he was going to do and communicated to us through the process.
