Right off let me tell you that Scott Dillin was fantastic. The charges were dismissed and I avoided insurance and court fine and appearance hassles. I was driving on the I40 in the Buncombe county section when I was pulled over and issued a ticket for "79 in a 60mph zone" - GS-20-141 The officer told me that a court appearance was necessary (not ok for me - I live in Kentucky) but I could pay the fines online and avoid court. I found out later that first - it was not possible to pay it online because the of the speed and second it was a pretty serious charge (if not properly disposed off - I did a bit of research). I looked at a lot of lawyers and received a lot of mail - Lawyers who looked up my ticket and offered services. I looked up Scott on the web and had the feeling that this was a serious minded professional with the interests of his clients at heart. He also posted on issues I care about. The important thing is that if you are looking for a lawyer I suggest you seriously consider at least calling Scott's office - I am quite sure that you will not be disappointed.

I was referred to Scott by a firm which handled my mother's estate. He was wonderful. I was really in a bind as I moved to NC from SC/GA where they go 80mph as standard speed. Needless to say, I got a speeding ticket a few weeks after I moved to NC. I hadn't moved my license to NC yet, and paid the ticket not knowing they would suspend my license for going so fast. He was able to get my plea of guilty removed, and got the speeding ticket dismissed, all before my out of state registration expired. And, at a price that cannot be beat. He also was prompt in answering phone calls, keeping me appraised of the situation, etc. I'd recommend him highly.
