Courtney Carter was amazing from start to finish. She listened and understood the complexity of my situation. She was no-nonsense with opposing counsel, and I knew she was out for my best interests. These small legal battles have long-term implications. I was glad I had a strong professional attorney looking out for me. I would highly recommend Courtney Carter to anyone, and gratefully retain her services in the future.

Courtney was not only a charming person to deal with, she was knowledgeable. She constantly kept me updated on my case and worked hard to "move" things along. I am very please with her services although I pray I do not need her services in the future, I would consult her if I did.

I contacted them thru email for consultation. I received a call back in a decent time frame. She said that JUST consolation for 30 mins to 1 an hour would cost $500. I thought that was just a rip off. Majority of the lawyers I called charge anywhere from 50$ to 200$ for consultation. I hate when people try to get over and over charge. I do not recommend them and watch out if you chose them.

Ms Carter was very professional, punctual and thorough. The first thing I did was schedule a consultation with Ms Carter and was very pleased with our initial meeting. She listened to my wishes, took extensive notes, and offered several ideas on how to handle my particular case. Once hired she made sure that I was included in every step she made. She helped me feel very comfortable about my situation and my odds of getting what I was asking for. I asked to maintain 50/50 custody of my daughter but to also gain the “primary physical custody” title solely for the purpose of getting my daughter into a much better school system than the one her mother could provide at the time. In court the opposing counsel made it a point to attack my personal life and did very little to build a case of why the minor child should have her mother’s address as her primary. Ms Carter did not attack the opposition but instead made a great presentation of why the minor child would be better off in an environment where she would have many more opportunities to flourish and get ahead in life at an early age. Winning the case and gaining more than I asked for made me quite emotional and is one of my proudest moments as a father and Ms Carter is the attorney that made it possible for me. With all of my willingness and gratitude I would recommend her to anyone seeking legal counsel.

Courtney was just simply fantastic to deal with. Not only is she incredibly knowledgeable, but she always seemed to be one step ahead of the other side. By far the most pleasant experience I've had with any attorney. During the course of the case opposing counsel deployed a barrage of questionable tactics, but Courtney always knew when to push back hard and when to allow things to play out. Her advice was always on point and in no time I was reunited with my son, which was the initial reason I met with her. As far as alimony and all things monetary goes - she was again incredible in her understanding of the law as well as how the law would potentially be applied to my case, which was more complex given business interests abroad. She again knew exactly when to push hard for what we wanted and when we should give a little to get everything we wanted in the end. All round she made what was a traumatic life experience a lot easier.

Have to say that J. Brad Smith is a great attorney. He takes the time to deal with your problem even if he has to rearrange his schedule. The staff that I have dealt with are knowledgeable and professional and great human beings. If I could change only one thing, it would be the have a more timely response to calls and being kept informed of progress. But a better defensive criminal lawyer you'll be hard pressed to find.

Courtney is professional, courteous, knowledgeable, responsive, forward-thinking and good at managing expectations. Through my contentious separation and custody matters, she filed pleadings, motions, advised me appropriately and was conscious of time and cost constraints. I would hire her again and recommend her to anyone needing an experienced family law attorney.

Very disappointed in Anastasia Cowan and this law firm. I felt that she didn’t really care about what I wanted or especially needed as a client. I had hoped that she would have fought harder for me because this also affects my children. I contacted Mr. Arnold to let him know that I was unhappy. Didn’t help. I paid them thousands of dollars. I feel that my money would’ve been better spent if I had hired a different attorney.

Would be 5 stars but took to long to get my settlement check after signing insurance check over. Otherwise great legal firm.

Courtney Carter was awesome and did a great job from start to finish. She is very professional and always attended to my issues in a timely manner and always provided what I needed .I would recommend her to anyone. I hired her for my divorce case and she provided excellent service throughout the entire process
