Ms. Carter handled my divorce and child custody case in Union County. She did a superior job. I couldn’t be more pleased. Opposing counsel was trying to use my military service against me. They brought up my combat tours, my PTSD diagnosis and tried to paint me as a bad father who was going to go postal any minute. Ms. Carter brought in expert witnesses, neighbors, family and members of my platoon to demonstrate not only that I was trusted, loved and had served honorably but was a good father. She made the judge see the truth. Her commitment was unwavering, her steadfast determination unmatched, her work ethic unequaled, and she truly cared about me, my family, and my son. She is warm, determined, compassionate, highly capable and her preparation and strategy are superb. Thanks to her I now have joint physical and legal custody of my son.

I left a bad review of this place awhile ago and i have had time to reflect on my case and have come to the realization that due to the circumstances of my case no lawyer could have won my particular case because i was in a no win situation because of unproven lies of the other party. This law firm is very professional and attentive and my prior review was made out of misdirected anger and i sincerely apologize. I have been a client of this law firm for 11 years and they were at every court hearing fighting for me tooth and nail and we won a lot of the battles. We just finally lost the war, which was of no fault of theirs nor mine. It takes a man to admit when he is wrong and i was wrong for leaving a review like that of this place. I highly recommend this law firm, they are one of the best in mecklenburg county
