For the most part Patricia Ferguson was a great attorney, and her support staff was helpful. That is until I got stationed in Korea for a year and she dropped me for not communicating. Before I left I informed her staff that my wife would be checking in monthly and if they needed to communicate anything, they need to tell her. Patricia and her staff failed to do that, even when my wife asked every month if they needed anything. They always told her no... and didn't even tell her they were trying to contact me.

Paid up front to be disrespected, talked down to, and ultimately lose my case even though i had picture, video, and text message evidence. I would have been better off representing myself. She prepped my case 25 minutes before being seen by the judge in the cafeteria of the courthouse. She had no knowledge of anything the defense was stating simply because she didnt prep. She said things to the judge on my behalf that were false. The defendant's witnesses lied on the stand all while i had proof of the lies right in front of me but she refused to present them to the judge. If you really want a good attorney look elsewhere. I feel sorry for anyone she represents. Another friend retained her and i found out after the fact. He had pretty much the same results. After he paid her, she went on vaction on the retainer fee and had no knowledge of the case when in front of the judge as well. Beware of this "attorney."

I am a veteran of the US Army. I was injured when I was shot multiple times and left for dead. My daughter was taken to NC for my mother to watch while I recovered. She attempted to gain custody of her. When going through a tough time, I needed a lawyer who was aggressive, blunt, upfront, and truthful. I didn't realize that I was getting a warrior. I live in Texas and was confused about everything dealing with NC law. The other party had a lawyer but every time he said something to me, not only did it sound wrong but there was a little smirk on his face. Three lawyers asked to take my case and talked horribly about the other attorney. As I sat in the courtroom I saw attorney Ferguson in action and was immediately amazed. She seemed to be well versed in law as well as the applicability of it. I decided to retain her services. During the consult, she paid close attention to me. Since retaining her, I have failed to be amazed. She was in court on time and even had to wait on the judge to get there. She fought my case by the law using facts coupled with aggressiveness. The judge gave me custody of my daughter that day. The paralegals that have helped me are second to none. When I call, there is always someone there. Whether it's the quick reaction of Alyssa, the reassurance of Corin (I think that's how you spell it), or the attention to detail of the other paralegal (whose name I can't remember) I'm always in good hands. And trust me when I say that's hard on anyone because I am constantly messing something up or doing something wrong, but, Attorney Ferguson and her staff take care of me by constantly showing professionalism and unmatched customer service. This law firm wins. I can't tell anyone what to do and obviously people have to "shop" around. But I'm my honest opinion, it would be in anyone's best interest to stop here and get a consult. You probably already. been going through the ringer and you don't need someone that will sugar coat it for you just to obtain your business. If you're like me, you want a battle tested warrior that studies the rules of engagement (law), plans her strategy, and executes it with a high rate of success.

I can't say enough for Attorney Ferguson. She took my case at the last minute, still gave me and my case plenty of attention and care, and ensured that I was satisfied with my outcome. I was afraid before starting my ordeal, however with her in my corner I know I was being taken care of. She is straightforward, witty, and incredibly dedicated. From start to finish she made sure I understood what was happening and my options. I am so appreciative!

I had an extremely simple case but an extremely difficult ex husband that fought every step of the way. She looked out for me even when I didn't look out for myself. Intimated my ex and helped get my kids and I everything we needed. Very compassionate and amazing staff as well!!

Ms Ferguson is a stellar attorney. I hired her for a child custody case for my children. I had already been divorced and had shared custody with my ex. The one week on, one week off was literally damaging to my children. It was an extremely hard case and took a while due to the circumstances but I m very proud to say that we won. She stood by me the entire time and was a great support. She s an attorney that will fight to the very end because she has a strong belief in what she does. Her professionalism in the courtroom was stellar. I actually had people in court that would ask me for her buisness card just because of how she handled herself. She was honest with me. She told me the truth about what she thought about my case, not what I wanted to hear and she always did what was in the best interest for me and my family. It was a really long fight for our custody but it had a very happy story in the end. She helped me stand up to my ex after years of abuse. I ve had the opportunity many times to observe other attorney s while waiting on my case. I ve seen most attorney s in this area a few times and observe how they handle their cases. She was well mannered with the judge and other attorneys, polite (You ll see if you ever go, how ill mannered some other attorneys can be. Extremely rude. I know what it s like when you re looking for a lawyer and have no clue who to choose. I took my chances with not knowing any lawyer in this area and chose her and I d go back and choose her again if I ever needed to.
