I strongly suggest using The Elderlaw Firm for your estate planning and eldercare needs. And I also suggest signing up for their emails because they provide a wealth of information. They also have short courses that you can sign up and learn more about different eldercare & estate options. Dennis is very professional and listens to your individual concerns and will work with the family and map out an estate plan. Just be sure to plan ahead and use his services before your family member needs nursing home care.

Our experience with The Elderlaw Firm was less than stellar, and we cannot recommend this firm. Lauren Q. is a promising young attorney with excellent skills, but working with other individuals in the firm was challenging. It should be noted that through these challenges/mishaps and poor communication NOT ONCE did Mr. Toman reach out to us although he was cc'd on many of my correspondence. That says a lot. Make sure you understand the terminology and know the timeline of the work being done. We were gob smacked to learn over a year after dad passed that the Trust he left us was not part of the Estate work and that we whittled away a year waiting for the "Estate to close". I'd call myself crazy for not understanding this but at every in -person meeting my sister was present as well and we were both shocked by the level of misunderstanding we both had regarding what was covered under Estate work. I have suggested, in writing, to Elderlaw that they work on a needs assessment and prepare a glossary of terms for new clients. Apparently most Estate work is done by a para legal . My written observations to the firm clearly address the problems we had with communicating with the para legal. We regret our decision to hire Elderlaw and we can only hope that this firm reads this with an open mind and makes some changes.

The Elderlaw Firm provided excellent service. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable about all my needs. I will definitely use them in the future when needed. I would recommend the Elderlaw Firm to anyone. Prices for their services are very reasonable.
