Last year I was charged with a DUI. I meet with a couple lawyers that were supposedly the best at helping people that were in my same situation and None thought that I would win my case. My son was visiting friends in North Carolina when he got a DWI (and several other charges) and was arrested. We live in Illinois and I called Mr. Brinkley to handle his case, who immediately called me back and went to the jail to meet with my son and let him know everything was going to be already. For a very modest cost Mr. Brinkley handled everything. Once my son got back to Illinois Mr. Brinkley kept in constant contact letting him know what to expect and suggesting things he could do to help the situation like entering rehab. Mr. Brinkley appeared in court several times for my son so he did not have to fly to North Carolina. Finally when my son did have to appear in court Mr. Brinkley explained exactly what the possible outcomes would be and how he was going to approach the matter. The final outcome was amazing - all charges except the DWI were dismissed, the absolute minimal requirements for the DWI (no jail time) were imposed, and a minimal fine. We were amazed and commented that we wished we could take Dewey back to Illinois with us. We highly recommend Mr. Brinkley.
