I would not recommend using this law firm for anyone. I was involved in my first damaging car accident. I was T-boned by a drunk woman who ran a stop sign. She totalled my car and I was out of work for weeks. I hired a law firm cuz I had never been involved in an accident like that and I was recommended by everyone to get a lawyer. I thought a lawyer was supposed to help make this easier. Why do I have to do your job for you? I have been told that I have to figure out the billing. I have to figure out how much everything is. I have to get all of the notes from every doctor. Why am I paying you 30% of a settlement if I'm doing all the work for you? I had one paralegal when this started and me and her were in concert communication back and forth. She was really nice. Really kind then all of a sudden she's gone and she's replaced with another woman who never answers her phone. It's been almost a whole year and they rushed me through the healing process they rushed me through the healing process so they could start ending and settle. It's been 9 months since then and we're still haven't settled!! Now they're telling me all the doctors notes that I have and all of the billing I've done isn't what they're looking for and they can't use it. You have literally been so confusing. You're making me do all the freaking work and you're still taking 30%!? On top of it I have not heard from anybody in months!!

Rude and unprofessional

Marcari Russotto and Balaban have been a great blessing to me! Kristen Swinson, in particular, a Paralegal, has had day to day work on my case, has been especially great! She and the Attorneys are the best, I would recommend them to any Veteran who is dealing with the VA Claims process. As a matter of fact, I recommended them to a fellow Veteran today. In July I was hit head on; my car was totaled. The other party was found at fault by the cops and the insurance companies. I don't expect anyone to wave a magic wand and have it all solved. HOWEVER, it should NOT take me having to call 3-4 times and getting upset, before they bother to give me a call back or an email. I am only giving them one star so I can leave a review and because they managed to get me a $500 med pay from the insurance company- AFTER I had already lost my apartment due to the financial difficulties the accident has caused. They are aware of my homelessness and my serious need for this case to move forward, yet I've been trying to get in touch with them since mid-December with nothing. I chose these people because Marcari was JAG and they like to advertise how much they help veterans with their VA Compensation cases. I thought maybe they'd be more understanding of a disabled veteran and the struggles we face. They couldn't care less. If it wasn't for the fact it would add months to getting a resolution I would go with another firm but at this point I think I'm stuck. Veterans DO NOT put your lives in these peoples hands because they couldn't care less about you. They just mouth the words to lure in our business. Civilians, same thing, they don't care about you either. You'd think since our pain and struggle ends up paying THEIR salaries and commissions they'd put some effort in, maybe even show some sympathy, some understanding, some care- they might be a little human. Unfortunately, that's not been my experience at all. If you don't want EXTRA stress added to an already awful and stressful situation, I'd look elsewhere.
