Doug was wonderful helping us resolve a contract issue. He helped us understand our options, and assisted us in getting things across the finish line. If Doug hadn't stepped in, I'm confident we'd still be in no mans land with the issue. He's professional, prompt, and a straight-shooter. I highly recommend working with this firm.

The apartment building had over 30 pages, much of it in language that we couldn't make sense of, and Mr. McClanahan was able to break it down for us and answer all of our questions. I have worked with Doug and his team over the years on occasion. Litigation, thinking about entering into it, or being brought into it, is stressful but Doug is always calm, truthful and matter of fact. Grateful to have his team on my side and if the need does arise, glad to have them assist me.

This firm handled a closing for one of our clients (we were the listing agents) in August of 2021 and FORGOT to send the funds collected at closing to the HOA on a timely fashion. It took them months and repeated correspondence for them to realize they were at fault. We discovered this oversight on their part because our seller client were still being billed for the HOA monthly dues months after the closing took place. Both our office and our client sent multiple messages to this attorney to resolve this issue. And finally, in mid December, after the head of the HOA got involved, their closing coordinator, Liz Primm, sent an email saying “it appears we had the HOA payment s on hold” and finally acknowledged they would send the payment. To this date, no one in their firm apologized for this error on their part. Because they were extremely unresponsive and careless in their money handling, we would not recommend this closing attorney.

I have closed both personal and client transactions over the years with H&H. They are responsive, professional, and definitely my go to for any and all real estate transaction needs. Very down to Earth! (pun intended) They do offer other areas of expertise as well! Highly recommend!
