Hello Mr. Orcutt, My name is Sefronia Strum , I have a complaint, on your Post Legal Rep Charlene in the Raleigh Office. She has no personality what so ever. Each time I have called with questions/concerns since filing for bankruptcy she acts as if its a bother to her. Unfortunately, due to a chronic medical illness I had to file bankrupcty its not because I wanted to. (if she most know). I called last month reference a letter I received in the mail regarding $250.00 attorney fee, to be directed to another office in Wilson and I left a message for Joanne Thorpe (if I remember correctly, I dont have letter in front of me) I did not receive a call back, so I called the Raleigh office back to speak with Charlene regarding other questions I had about my claim. She answered again she doesnt make you feel welcome. So, I called the Garner Office and spoke with Kelly whom was helpful in answering my questions. Well, this morning March 21st, regarding another letter I received in the mail on yesterday in reference to the $250.00 attorney for Motion of Dismissal fee. I was transfered to the Garner office and Receptionist very friendly, advised I needed to speak with Charlene, so she transfered me to the Raleigh office. I speak with Charlene and advised of the letter I received yesterday in the mail ( Order to award an additional attorney fee $250.00 and to extednd the duration or increase my monthly fee) I wanted clarity because I needed to know how to budget the $250.00 fee into my monthly expenses. Again, she has not personality and rude. Telling me she know what the letter says and etc. I am asking her questions and trying to get an understanding of letter(s) . Before, I let her get me out of my character and become rude back, I just hung up the phone. Sefronia Strum

We dreaded having to file bankruptcy. It wasn’t a decision we made lightly. We were scared, nervous, and embarrassed. The John Orcutt Team ( especially Miss Tina M. ) was very professional and explained everything in a thorough manner, took the time to answer all our inexperienced questions ( and we had a lot ) sorry Tina 😳. They were really great and helpful. I’d highly recommended them to anyone seeking their services.

We first met with Anthony who was very knowledgeable, which was refreshing because this is obviously something no one wants to have to do. And then met with Joe Nichols every other appointment after that and he was just as wonderful and was always up to date on our situation and had an answer for our every question! While filing bankruptcy can be so stressful, they made it easy and seamless and I know I can speak for my husband and myself when I say we highly recommend this office!!!

I could not say enough good things about the folks at the Law Offices of John T. Orcutt!! Everyone was friendly and helpful!! Joe Nichols was PHENOMENAL throughout the entire process!! He answered every single question/concern I had with complete transparency!! He was very knowledgeable, personal and sincere!! I can never thank him enough for making this process go smoothly!!

Initially, I was ashamed of filing for bankruptcy. Everyone I came in contact at John T. Orcutt Law Office was beyond exceptional! Upon my first meeting with Mr. Joseph Nichols, I knew everything would be ok. He was very pleasant and my time with him was completely about me and my individual situation. He thoroughly answered all my questions and let me know if I had additional questions or concerns, I could call or send him an email. Upon signing my paperwork, I felt a heavy burden had been lifted. I don’t know where to start. Bankruptcy, definitely wasn’t something I thought that I would ever have to do. I was doing well with paying all of my bills on time but slowly, like it always does, I was taking from Paul to pay Peter as the saying goes. The snow ball effect was slowly starting but eventually it became a massive snowball before I reached out to John T. Orcutt Raleigh office. I did my research first and decided to try other firms before ending up with John T. Orcutt, like every other firm I was offered a free consultation but unlike the other firms that I went to John T. Orcutt firm cared about my well-being. Starting with the Raleigh staff that have always been very nice and friendly during my appointments, I also wouldn’t have made it through the process without Tara Pepper who did my consultation. I wasn’t expecting an hour consultation, since I was used to a 30 min quick in an out but Tara calmed my nerves and covered all the information on both a chapter 7 and 13 filing. After the means test, it was clear a chapter 7 would work better for me. Though Tara calmed my nerves I still felt like a failure for having to file in the first place here is where Joseph Nichols comes into place. He was there for me no matter what type of questions I had and believe me I had many. Just like Tara he calmed my nerves and helped me understand the process and to not let the creditors make me feel less-than. I am just at the beginning of my filing process and crossing my fingers that my discharge will be by this summer. It might have taken me a year to get to this point (being able to come up with funds to file) but I am extremely thankful to everyone on helping me get rid of a big stressor. Once my discharge is complete I will make sure to update my review. Without the John T. Orcutt firm, Tara and Joseph I am pretty sure I would of lost my mind, home and self-worth. Thank you, thank you, thank you I can’t express how much you’ve helped me grow and learn. Bankruptcy is not always the answer but in my case it was a saving grace and a way to start fresh and not EVER end up in this situation again.

This was a last resort for me because I was indeed drowning and doing a bad job at trying to save myself. Saw the commercial on tv one day and decided to give it a try. This is a great office and friendly people. Worked with Joseph Nichols he explained everything to me and responds to emails in a prompt manner. I would recommend them to anyone who is struggling with debt and looking for a way out to get a fresh start.

Everyone was great. I came in the office feeling like I had some how given up, but the staff at John Orcutt made us feel better about my decision and my future. Tina Moore was great going over my case, she made it easy to understand and made me feel at ease..

Everyone at this office was amazing. We mostly worked with Tina Moore, she made us feel like family. We knew the first time we met with her that we were in good hands and that we didn't have to worry about the process. She knows what she is doing and will go out of her way to answer your questions. I will miss seeing her!!!!

I would recommend anyone that needs legal advice to use this office. Everyone was helpful above and beyond, most importantly Tina. She helped me every step of the way, when I had no idea what I was doing. She was in constant contact when I needed her and fully available and always on top of everything even when I wasn't. It was a warm friendly environment that I always felt comfortable in. I would trust them with any matter that I needed advice. I will certainly look to them again in the future should I need to.
