This group worked tirelessly to help us close on our commercial loan. It was our first time closing on any large loan and the fact that it was commercial, in a development with various sets of restrictions, made it that much more involved. The long and tedious process was magnified when they caught someone else’s overlook with the original deed wording (quite literally a needle in a haystack of documents). We discovered that something like this, involving several different parties, wouldn’t be an easy fix by any stretch of the imagination but they were awesome with explaining the situation and what needed to be done to correct it. Additionally, they helped us to get it remedied in record time, which was crucial for our timeline. Their communication was great throughout the entire process. It was a learning experience for us to say the very least and their professionalism, promptness, and patience (with us and everyone involved in the ordeal) was very much appreciated!! I just can not thank Mr. William Morgan enough for helping us with our living wills and POA process, he is so knowledgeable and thorough. We learned several things from him as what the law requirement is that we didn't know about and save us from getting in trouble. I trust him with all my legal matters!

I hired Mr. Morgan to facilitate and have recorded a property sale related to a 10-31 tax exchange. On the sale of the property and recording the deed and associated paperwork, Mr. Morgan performed well. On the issue of closing a property in accordance with a 10-31 tax exchange, he claimed to have experience in the matter and in fact bungled the attempt. Only after I spent several days thinking about what Mr. Morgan had done to me (by conducting the initial closing related to the 10-31 exchange in the way that he did) I called him and expressed my concerns. He then started to take my concerns to heart, began to consult with my 10-31 attorney that I had made available to him from the beginning, and the upshot was he completely redid the closing to accomplish my goals. I am still not sure that I will not be subject to massive capital gain taxes, the avoidance of such being the point of a 10-31 exchange. I will, of course, be finding out next tax season, next year. To add insult to injury, at the conclusion of our work, I asked Mr. Morgan to write a simple letter to some neighbors that had been harassing me. He said he would but a week later claimed he was to busy to do it. After I informed him I would wait, he then made up some story about having too many of that kind of work to do that for me . Faced with his obvious lies, I think he was trying to get rid of me after the embarrassment of his incompetent bungling of the work he did for me. However, character does matter. I would not hire this attorney again. Less This review is from a person who hired this attorney.

Smith & Morgan Law helped us today through the closing of our home. You would think the process would be just as boring as it sounds, you know signing the huge pile of papers, but the service we received when we walked through the door from the receptionist, to the paralegal, to Will himself, was truly exceptional. Never thought I'd say this, but they really did make the process fun. We were highly satisfied with their legal services and customer service and we would highly recommend their practice.
