This is by far the worst experience i can imagine when trying to give someone a lot of money. We drove from Florida to N.C. to close on a house on Friday. Their paralegal received an email at 930 am Thursday (yes, i did enough investigating to get the email chain) informing them that the closing wasn't going to work out because they had not even received the seller's signed paperwork. For some inexplicable reason they did not notify us until after our papers were completed on Friday to tell us we couldn't take possession of the house until the next week when the papers might arrive. We had 3 dogs, 2 car loads full of belongings and no where to stay. I thought for sure considering that we lost time from our jobs to make the trip and had to cancel all of the work we had scheduled on the house that the law firm would have offered to help pay for our rental while we waited on the paperwork the neglected to tell us they did not receive... But alas, instead the establishment was rude and did not follow through on most of their responsibility. We had to double check absolutely everything and constantly caught things they missed. Best advice: go elsewhere.

I set up a meeting through Ms Smith's paralegal for 7 days ahead. I sent documents for Smith's perusal 6 days in advance. When I arrived, she had not read the documents and had no idea why I was there. She briefly looked through one document and offered off the cuff legal advice, but had no idea of my other concerns that were detailed in the unread papers. Her paralegal stated that the initial consult would be $75, but I was charged the full hourly rate of $250. I should have walked out when I saw that she was unprepared.
