Brittany Hall was my attorney through a year and a half custody battle with my ex. She was wonderful, always making an effort to address my concerns and go over any questions I had about the proceeding. She was readily available for calls and even responded to emails late at night when she was with her own family. We won our case with the best possible outcome for myself and my child. They were very helpful, professional, and on the ball when it finally started rolling. I give 5 stars for the quality work they completed on a compressed timeline. It took a long time to get an appointment scheduled, though. Don't wait for them to call you. Keep calling back if the administrative assistant doesn't call you.

Cape Fear Family Law is an exceptional legal firm. From the moment you walk into the warm and friendly office you know its a different type of legal firm. Jessica Arthur, Ashly Clark, Janet Gemmell, and Amy Bender were amazing! They were honest, knowledgeble, organized, available and genuinely cared. Their pricing is more than reasonable and explained in the first visit. No hidden fees were added. Jessica and Ashly were very responsive and always available. Jessica Arthur and Ashly Clark were thorough, attentive, prompt, and empathetic. Any time I had a question I was immediately answered. Their pricing is fair and clear. They did not tack on unnecessary hourly fees and were constantly in contact with me and working for the best interest of my case and my children. Highly recommend this office.

Flexible, affordable, and easy to work with! Helped me with an amended separation agreement and assisted me with advice in filing my own divorce. Didn't feel pressured and they were genuinely looking out for me, not just trying to "get a buck". For my first experience working with legal counsel, I would definitely recommend to any of my friends to use Janet and her team!
