This company is horrible. We have been "filing" since March. Still nothing filed. Spoke to Ned and he tells me they need to review document for two weeks and then file within two months of that. It sucks that I paid them in full. They are taking advantage of people who have financial issues. I should've checked more into this company. The BBB and the Ohio Supreme Court, and several bar associations will hear about my experience with this company. The least I can do is hope they eventually file the case, and make things right.

Apparently when people are poor they don't matter. I retained this firm more than 3 weeks ago because I received a letter that I was being sued civilly by a creditor and have 30 days to respond. They advertised that they are local to Columbus, however, their office is a satellite office only. Their website does not say that. The only functioning office is in Akron which is over an hour drive from me. Because I don't have the ability to create PDF files of my original documentation, I made arrangements to drop off my files with one of their attorneys here in Columbus, which was two weeks ago. After 10 days I heard nothing so I called my new Paralegal that is supposed to be helping me, to be told he does not have my files that I dropped off nor will the attorney that I dropped off my original documentation to return his phone call. Today because I had not heard anything back from the paralegal, I called to be told that I had to wait till my appointment today at 11:30, noon comes and goes no phone call. I call again only to be told he's running behind with another client. they won't even take my phone call but they have $500 of my money and they have done nothing for me. Who can I complain to? Does anybody know??

If I could give less than 0 stars, I would. This company reached out to me regarding filing bankruptcy. The rep talked to me about my case, heard me cry, listened to me beg for help. At the time I was single and pregnant with my second child and was very afraid of financial troubles coming my way. I was put on a payment plan, which strained me to such an unimaginable extent, financially. I sent in all required documents and then didn’t hear back for months. When they finally reached out to me, it was to request more of the same documents. So I keep sending in documents that I have already sent in. I did the counseling course and because this firm can not get it together, it expired. When I requested my money back, I was told that it had all been used even though my case had not moved forward at all. That was over a year later. After consulting with another financial attorney, I was informed that this process should not have been more than 6 months. I asked for itemized statements several times directly to my attorney and the paralegal, Rebecca Mounts. To no avail, no one reached out to me or sent me the document. I then received letters stating my case would be closed if I didn’t call. So now over 2 years later, my finances are still in the same boat except now I’m out $2,500 as a single mother. This firm is predatory. This firm is a scam. DO NOT WORK WITH THEM THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU AND DO 0 WORK

I have no experience with their legal services. However, after being involved in a hit a run accident, I was bombarded with texts and calls from this location and many others. They pulled my info from the police report. If this is how they practice getting new clients, there is no way they can be competent attorneys. I feel victimized all over again.

The first time I used their services they were great. This time around it has been impossible trying to get in contact with someone who can help. I’ve called twice, emailed the info they needed and text with the “assistant” and I’ve gotten no where. Update 04/11/24 nothing was ever corrected or resolved.

Don't trust this company.

My grandmother went to this law firm to get help with her house issues. My grandmother recently had an issue and she needed to speak to her lawyer about it. She left messages for her lawyer and with the secretary and none of her calls to the law firm or her lawyer were returned. Once they get their money they don’t care to speak to their clients anymore and it’s sad. Her lawyer Brooke Elliot was nice when she helped my grandma with her case but now she doesn’t care to return calls to my grandmother. She could’ve atleast just called back and answered the question, even if it didn’t help my grandmother atleast the call back would’ve been respected. I wouldn’t recommend this law firm to anybody! If you want to deal with a law firm that cares about their clients and doesn’t ignore them, DO NOT choose this one!
