I’m 34 Years old and have never filed before. I have a very good job and was under the income threshold for a chapter 7 due to my work depending on weather events kicked me over the limit. I was staying afloat paying my minimums and keeping all my bills current but could not get out of a hole I got myself in after being diagnosed with Cancer back in 2014 on top of my student loans, rent, vehicle, and normal living expenses. While I was just below the income guideline for a chapter 7 as I was pushed above the income limit during the months of severe weather being a property claims adjuster. Martin worked with me for about 5 months checking in with me sending in updated pay stubs until I just fell below the presumption of abuse to file a chapter 7. I was able to finally file for a 7 that relieved lots of stress of just keeping things afloat. Working with Martin was the best experience and very down to earth.
