You don't know what you don't know and wow, my husband and I were certainly ignorant as to what would happen after our passing. We've heard horror stories that have happened to others so we decided to do some work and save our loved ones any additional and unnecessary complications. Elliott Feldman is extremely knowledgable and professional, providing just the right amount of candor and patience when dealing with such a heavy subject matter many try to avoid. He answered all our "stupid" questions thoroughly and provided explanations through every step in the process of our estate planning. Given his personal experience, his passion for ensuring that it doesn't happen to others is immeasurable. I left our final meeting with Elliott with an overwhelming sense of peace knowing that we had a plan in place that will protect our legacy and provide adequately for our loved ones when we are no longer able to so. No cliche lawyers here. I completed my estate planning with Elliott and each meeting went quite smoothly. The honest, straightforward process works best for me. Correspondences were sufficient and included a handwritten welcome letter. I will have no problem reccommending this firm as the opportunity arises.

Elliott really helped us navigate through the process of creating a family trust. My father had done a good job helping me and my sisters avoid probate by placing all his assets in a trust before his passing. We want to do the same for our kids. Elliott made the estate plan into a time-line diagram that was easy to follow which allowed us to get really comfortable with the whole concept. We were provided with a simple roadmap to follow in order to get all our assets into the newly created family trust. He even provided Word templates for correspondence to banks, insurance companies, brokerage houses, etc. But the best part of the whole experience hadn't happened yet. Elliott believes it is just as important to pass along your spiritual and intellectual values as it is to protect physical assets. He provided a long list of topics and related interview-type questions that we used to put together an audio recording that we called "Our Legacy." This audio recording is saved on the same USB that also houses all the PDFs of our estate plan. I can't thank Elliott enough for experience. It was very satisfying.
