Our family had a good experience with Fitzwater Law. We needed to get our estate in order and set up a special needs trust for our kiddo. Between being able to use Zoom/phone appointments and the expertise of Ms. Marmion, I am happy to report that I can put a huge "DONE" stamp on my todo list and feel good about the result.

Theressa recently helped me with a Transfer Upon Death Deed. She made the process so easy! I filled out a quick questionnaire, she was available immediately to answer any of my questions. and I didn't need a translator to understand her responses. She explained everything perfectly. I will definitely be recommending her to friends and family.

Wes Fitzwater has been the best estate attorney that I have ever worked with. This is the third time I've been the personal representative of an estate and when my beloved best friend asked me to be hers, I strongly resisted because of the negative experiences I had previously. My concerns, however, were unfounded and that is due to Mr. Fitzwater. He has made this process smooth, drama free, and easy for me. I really don't know how I would have fulfilled her wishes without him. I am so grateful to her that she chose Mr. Fitzwater to set up her affairs and that, despite the financial challenges, Mr. Fitzwater agreed to represent the estate. It has been a complicated one but not for me, because he has made it easy. In addition to his impressive understanding of the law and what the state of Oregon requires, his emotional intelligence in what happens after a loved one passes and how people can behave in unexpected ways is vast and supremely helpful. He takes it all in stride, understands the personal rep's challenges, and then provides the options and advice to make everything go smoothly and fairly. He's kind but he's also firm when needed, especially when it comes to representing the estate, protecting the wishes of the deceased, and protecting the personal rep from bad behaviour from the beneficiaries. And, if you've been through it before, you know what I mean. Thank you Mr. Fitzwater. You have made all the difference.

Worst law firm ever these people will tell you what you want to hear take your money and forget about you I had a case started with them over a year ago and they have not completed nor gave me any information on where they're at on my case getting hold of someone is nearly impossible I have left numerous messages and no one has ever called me back do not give your money to these people unless you just don't like your money

The estate planning process was WAY easier and less expensive than I anticipated. I can recommend Melanie Marmion as an attorney who was able to modify my Living Trust so that it took advantage of the current Estate Tax situation.. She gave me a date on which her work would be done and it was, very professional.

My experience is that after Donna Meyer retired the firm, especially Christopher Ray and Emily Pringle did not properly follow up with my Father's Trust. At one point we requested information from Ms. Pringle and she thought the Trust was closed as disposed. I felt Mr. Ray was inept at supporting my Special Needs Trust and Trustee.
