Poor communication, most of my emails were ignored and/or required me to follow up multiple times. My matter also wasn’t handled nearly as timely as I felt it should have been, it took more than five months for a single demand letter and two follow-up emails to a particular company. Due to the lengthy lag between communications, I’m not surprised the company did not take my matter seriously. Once this firm used up my entire retainer, I decided to cut ties even though my matter (fairly simple copyright infringement) was never resolved. At that point, I had been waiting three weeks for a response to an email, despite trying to follow up twice.

I called not knowing what to expect. What I got was a thorough and professional explanation of what would happen. They handled my case and I was more then happy with the outcome. I had questions throughout the process and the phones were answered everytime. I was treated like a person with real issues and concerns. After sending in a request online, I had the chance to speak to someone from the office as I walked through what services I was looking for and confirmed no conflicts of interest. We ended the call by scheduling time for a consultation in which I was supposed to hear from an attorney on staff. No call. No voicemail. No email. I even gave them another few weeks to see if they would call and apologize. I guess I'll take it as message received that my time isn't valuable.
