Based on my concerns with the curriculum and services my son received through the public school district, I contacted The Education Lawyers. My son's IEP did not appropriately reflect his needs with regression periods due to COVID-19 and remote learning. Mr. Jacobson walked me through every step of the way, going above and beyond advocating for our family. While the process took some time, Mr. Jacobson pushed to get the best outcome in compensatory education funds for my son. I highly recommend using Jacobson & John. They were very professional and knowledgeable. Hiring an educational attorney was something we never thought we would have to do and seemed overwhelming. They made the entire process much easier than we anticipated. From the consultation through final settlement they were easy to get in touch with and very responsive. I felt I had someone really listen to my concerns and understand my point of view.

Finding Chuck was the answer to prayers. My son’s repeated denial for accommodations on his National boards seemed like the end of the road for his career as a physical therapist. Thankfully we found Chuck. He is extremely well versed on education disability law. My son would have begun his career years earlier had we had his legal advice from the start. Absolutely loved working with Hollie when I had my consultation they were very kind and understanding I highly recommend them they know what they are doing and great to work with we really had a positive experience and on the plus side Hollie really actually seemed to care about my son and what was going on! I VERY highly recommend Steve Jacobson and his firm. I walked into his office a very scared, single mom just trying to fight for the rights of my son. He struggled in 3rd grade so bad, and unfortunately was not offered any support. At the end of the year they told me they were retaining him. Steve fought for us, and got my son tested for an IEP. All in all he qualified for an IEP by a landslide. Steve was amazing with explaining everything every step of the way, to make sure I understood what was going on whether it be big or small. The communication was amazing, anytime I had questions he was right there to answer them. Everything worked out in our favor! To paint a picture, when I first walked in to The education lawyers doors my son was getting scores as low as 30s, and now closing this case my son has gotten all As and Bs. I cannot express how grateful I am. I wish I could rate even more than 5 stars!!
