Holly John did a great job fighting for our son to get a large compensatory fund that was portable (where we were able to move out of district). Unfortunately the 1st private placement which we chose (which this firm has had successful placements with in the past) did a very poor job with our twice-exceptional son, particularly in gifted programming.
However, because the fund was portable, we were able to change to a school that knows giftedness, and my son is thriving.
We only wish that we knew how many behavior problems were in the 1st placement ahead of time.

Steve Jacobson has represented us twice in disputes with our school district and has proven to be an invaluable asset in our negotiations. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional and knows how to get things done. Steve does an excellent job of holding the district accountable and pushes for the maximum benefit for his clients. Stephen was very clear when we first met that the outcome of our future legal dispute with our school district could go either way so we knew going in that it could be a coin toss. Boy did the results beat our wildest expectations! We not only settled for the exact desired result but Stephen negotiated getting funds back from the school district for past payments! Stephen was so professional every step of the way and just made it a painless process. Now our son is in the school he needs and is fully paid by the school district. We could not be happier with the outcome!
