Around 15 years ago, they helped my in-laws plan and navigate a move to an assisted living facility: medicaid planning/elder care/estate planning. Bob and Aimee made it easy for my in-laws to understand, protected their assets, saved them so much money, and secured their future as they addressed their specific needs. Bob and Aimee even prepared power of attorney documents for our daughter right away before she had to go out-of-town. I emailed Bob Gerhard on his website in the early morning & he responded the same day by late morning. I emailed I would not be available till after 330PM that day to speak. The money we spent for Bob's expert counsel was paid back many times over in the assets he protected and taxes saved. Despite my parents having a relatively small estate, through his advice we were able to retain most of it for the heirs. I like to avoid being 'penny-wise and pound-foolish' and I certainly did just that by retaining Bob's services. If you have elder law and/or estate planning needs, do yourself a favor and give Bob a call. You will be happy you did. You will not find a better attorney to assist you in these elder law matters.

I found Bob Gerhard after 2 years of trying to piece together what I needed to do from what others told me. Though people's hearts were in the right place, they were usually wrong about the info they gave me about getting my mother into and paying for a nursing home. Once I had my first meeting with Bob, I instantly felt better. I finally found someone who was knowledgeable about my issue and would actually help. From that point on, Bob walked me through every step while being patient and understanding. He was always honest about issues and always had a plan to deal with it. Now that the process is complete, I would recommend Bob Gerhard for any elder care issues. Knowing what I now know, I would not have wanted to do it without him and I would have saved alot of time and stress by working with Bob earlier in the process. Finally, the fees were reasonable especially given the extensive work that was necessary. Talk to Bob Gerhard first and save yourself a lot of needless stress and worry.

Robert C.Gerhard III, Esquire and staff are top rate. They'll walk you through the sometimes complicated steps with ease. Without his expertise my Mother would have run out of money long ago; therefore having to go into a nursing home with horrible care opposed to staying in her home and receiving excellent 24hr care due to her dementia. My husbands' family uses him also for their elder care and estate planning needs. I'm so thankful for them and wanted everyone to know!

Even though Attorney Gerhard’s area of expertise involves elder law and estate planning, he took the time with me to understand my son’s situation and provided me with a referral for an attorney (no referral fee was involved) he felt would be reliable and knowledgeable. It is interesting to note Attorney Gerhard did not charge me for this 20 minute phone consultation.
