I was referred to Scott Rubin to help my son navigate through the Social Security disability process. From the outset it was clear that Scott knew the ins, outs and challenges of working with the social security agency. He took the time to meet with us on several occasions and stayed on top of the paperwork and deadlines in order to get us through the process. When it came to the hearing, we had everything in such good shape that the hearing went so smoothly and I did't even have to testify on my son's behalf, (which would have been a super emotional situation). Scott was accommodating, persistent and called us multiple times to brief us and answer questions, and even called me on the weekend when we had disappointing news when learned that my son got a different award amount than Scott had been told by the Social security office. The process is filled with ups and downs, but Scott navigated the waters and we ended up with a successful outcome. No one wants to go through this emotionally difficult process with their child, and they certainly don't want to face it with an attorney who only cares about his or her fee. Scott knew exactly how to present our situation and we are thankful that we were successful with his support.
