He was very thorough and explained everything!! This is the second time I have used Attorney Schefter and would recommend him to all my friends who need guidance during difficult times !!!

Originally hired Penny Ayres & she was great, very competent & skilled. Jason Shirley had taken over for her & became the worst choice for my custody trial I could have made. He is by far the worst attonrey I’ve ever witnessed practice. Very lazy & very unprofessional, said my daughter looked like a “chuckey” doll to opposing counsel. Showed up to trial with a 13 point small binder, every hearing was 10 steps backwards from where Penny got us. Hiring anybody or anything else would be a better choice than Jason, If I could choose less than 1 star I would. If he truly wanted to help people Get Justice he would change practices or retire. A brick wall could have represented me better. How he still has any business is beyond me. Office staff / paralegals were great

Senft law firm has been a HUGE part of our lives over the last 6 years. Penny is no longer with the firm but her team remains there. Kathy was super helpful in the beginning and then Gretchen joined in and became a huge asset as well. We had a very long custody case and these ladies were by far the best team anyone could ask for. Prompt on answering questions we had, very caring people. Jason Shirey has taken Penny’s position in the firm and I only worked with him for a very brief time but he seems to be very good at what he does also. Nobody “enjoys” needing representation but this team made it easier to go through this time in life. A huge thank you goes out to the entire office and heaven forbid I ever need someone again my first call will be you. This team can handle anything you give them. Big or small they are professional and personal at the same time. 100% would and will recommend this office especially for child custody issues!! Very poor communication skills! The paralegal did not present any of my information correctly to the attorney. The attorney never reached out to me regarding my urgent request like I was told he would. I patiently waited 1 week, with no communication from either of them. I call back to follow up after 1 week and a day, the paralegal says she was sick last week and meant to call me. The attorney did then call me later that day however, he had no idea what my need was and explained how the entire legal process works regarding my issue. I explained to him that I have already gone through ALL of those steps in the process as I told his paraegal, and he argued that he was not told any of that information. He then read to me the paralegal's documentation to cover his a#@ which stated the wrong information regarding my issue. It also stated that she called me back with the requested information. She did not call me, I called the office to follow up after no response. The attorney was rude, unprepared and did not listen to what I was saying to answer my questions appropriately. My issue is personal and not a big gain for an attorney but, it's still an issue where an attorney is needed and the quality of the work you will receive unfortunately depends on what's in it for them in the end. I would never recommend reaching out to attorney John Senft for handling any of your important life business needs.

When I got my DUI I was scared to death, but Bob Schefter completely put my mind at ease!! Bob was always available anytime I had a question. Bob took complete control of my DUI case and got me on the ARD program. I feel I not only got a GREAT lawyer, but also gained a Friendship!! I contacted Robert schefter he got back to me in less then a couple hours he was very engaged in my DUI case he was very professional and understanding about explaining my case to me he let me know ever step of the way what he was doing with my case he even broke down the justice system words in an easier way to understand he is the best lawyer I have came across in York county he come up with a plan, stuck to it and executed it I would recommend him to any person going through a criminal DUI case He is a very knowledgeable criminal DUI lawyer he made me feel like I was a human being. Me Schefter represented me for a 1st offense DUI , he made the process stress free and assured me not to worry . I followed his advice and he got all my paperwork thru very quickly and got accepted into ARD
