Recently, I had an unfortunate situation arise that brought about the need for a good defense attorney. Robert Schefter was referred to me by two different, well respected, attorneys. My case came about when an individual made false accusations against me and contacted the local police department claiming that I had attacked him during a relatively brief but stressful interaction. Fortunately, there was a security video recording proving that the allegations were false. Although, Mr. Schefter gave the other party and his attorney the opportunity to withdraw their claim, they chose to move forward. Robert Schefter utilized a superior defense strategy that laid the groundwork for the other individual to, figuratively, hang himself during his statement. Mr. Schefter proved that the individual had filed a false police report and, subsequently, committed perjury during the hearing. Needless to say, the case was dismissed. I was extremely pleased with the outcome and the service that I received...especially for a trivial legal situation that had occurred during the COVID restrictions! Although my case was a ‘nothing-burger’ in my opinion, I never felt like I was treated any less important than someone with more serious legal issues. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Robert Schefter and his legal team/staff! I will be forever grateful to him and everyone at his office who assisted me during this legal journey.
