Everyone makes mistakes in life, no one is perfect. Whether it's due to bad choices, poor decision making or letting your emotions get the better of you. Bad things can happen to good people. I made just such a mistake recently and was very fortunate to have a friend refer me to Mr. Macktaz's office. From the very beginning he layed everything out to me in language that I would comprehend about the circumstances I had found myself in. Not once giving me false hope or blowing smoke up my ***. His professionalism and integrity were beyond reproach. Him and his firm were by my side throughout the whole ordeal and it gave me a peace of mind that I wouldn't have had otherwise knowing that they had my best interest at heart and would do everything in their power to get me the best possible outcome. I needed representation for a speeding ticket and Kensley Barrett was the first and only attorney I needed to speak to! He was very friendly and made himself available. I hired Ken for a domestic violence charge that I believed was unfairly presented against me. It would have been considered a third strike which is a minimum sentence of one year. Ken was helpful, honest, and articulate. I am kind of a worry wart and would call kind of frequently. Ken never made me feel like I was a bother and reassured me. I would receive a call back the same day I left a message. His fees were more than reasonable especially for his level of representation. The charge was dropped down like he told me it would be and I only had six months of probation. I would recommend Ken without a doubt! He is brilliant and well respected by the Court.
