Shannon is amazing. Not sure how Jennifer Crumbley retained her as she turns away 90-95% of all who seek her. At first, she annoyed me with all her objections but I came to realize a woman's life and freedom is on the line and Shannon is just actively fighting for her client. She is supportive, wise, logical, professional and a go getter. Ethan's parents should never have been charged. Did they miss some signs, yes? My mom missed many signs when I was being abused but I'm not blaming her. If they are found guilty, parents everywhere will be charged with "crimes." The prosecution is reaching. Shannon is right on top of it all. Her objections are right on point and the judge seems to agree. I feel sorry for the victims and their families but this mom and dad didn't do wrong. All parents miss cues. The school seems more responsible than the parents as mandated reporters. I'd hire her in a heartbeat. Shannon was hot in the closing compared to clown Karen McDonald. I can't believe people actually elected the clown Karen McDonald for prosecutor. She just loves to ruin families.

Was arrested and charged with a misdemeanor. I have used Elizabeth two times before, both cases were dismissed. She happened to be out of the country when this latest unfortunate event occurred, but she still managed to call me and she will be representing again. Call me unlucky, or maybe just in the wrong place at the wrong time, or maybe I just need to move away from my crazy neighbor. I had some issues with DPS showing incorrect information in their system which was preventing me from obtaining a firearm and from getting my passport reinstated. Worst mistake ever !!!! We paid him fully upfront thousands all so my friend can still sit in jail and he never visited in the 2 years he was sitting in jail. Mcmahon only answers when he wants to. and when you do see him, he gives an excuse with a sad story. so you won’t be upset with him. DO NOT HIRE!!! Also, he forged signatures with the help of his assistant and gets it motorized through her without the actual client being there. DO NOT HIRE!!!!! He will try his best to sell you his service but he is not professional and like I said only answers when he wants to. if you try to call him out on it, he’ll give you an attitude! DO NOT HIRE!!!!

I was arrested for DWI and Assault in Fairport, NY. I was a passenger in a car driven by my girlfriend. We had stopped in the road to make a turn and a car rear ended us.
The impact was so great that the car was totaled. I had to climb out of the driver side window and that is when the driver who hit us told the Police that I was the driver.
The driver of the other car came over to me and started a fight and I had to defend myself and my girlfriend.
I immediately contacted Mr. Morabito to represent me for the criminal charges of DWI, assault and traffic tickets. If I was convicted of DWI, I would have lost my job.

This is the1st of 3 reviews & counting for my attorney Mr. Wayne Housley. Mr. Wayne I do apologize for my tardiness on these reviews,but after being mentally, emotionally, n sometimes spiritually exhausted. It's taken a year to get here. I came to Mr Housley in Aug. 2019 in an unimaginable situation and one really difficult to wrap your mind around. The system is flawed don't take me the wrong,but I believed that if u did not do something like I was accused of it would be easy to prove ur innocent. Of course I believe if u did do something like I was charged with it will be easy for the DA to prove your guilty. Although ur supposed to be innocent until proven guilty,but we all know it's rite the opposite. I met Mr Housley in Aug n met with him explained what I was charged with and why I was charged. Before I left the first meeting I knew he was who I needed to represent me. After about 30 minutes of conversation Mr Housley said something I will never forget n I quote"ok mr.william u have done the most important thing & that's convince me" and he gave a very reasonable price for him to represent me and we didn't close the deal that day,but I assured him he would hear back from me& a week or so later we talked again n I told him I decided to use him, n asked if he could give me a little time to come up with his fee,n without hesitation said he would. I needed him to represent me before I could pay him becaused I had already been indicted, I was arrested on a Friday evening around 6pm. The alleged crime was first reported around 3:30pm. That same day I was arrested n charged around 6pm n the judge didn't set me a bond until followingTuesday afternoon. I bonded out that same evening around 6pm. Little did I know they had already investigated a crime of this magnitude enuff that they gathered together a grand jury and I was indicted the next day& I had to go back to the jail& rebond out that next day which was on a Thurs. So in less than 7 days the alleged charges were reported n I was arrested n indicted in less than a week.Think about what I'm saying in less than 7 days I was charged n indicted. I know a little bit about the system, n I know that is unheard of just like all who is reading this knows it's unheard of as well. I'm goin to back up,but it was important that everyone reading this know how quickly from a crime being reported untill being indicted this was. There could not have possibly been any investigating like should have been in less than 7 days. Ok back to the good hearted attorney willing to work with a stranger knowing I couldn't pay him at the moment. My second meeting with Mr. Housley he had a question for me, n he asked me why did I choose to use him instead of the other attorney's I had met with. Which caught me off guard,but I loved the interest he had in how I'd made my decision. I told him he said he was convinced n I believed him. Mr Housley said circle the wagons. Social media shut down Now I'm a proud dad of four girls 27 21 16 & 15. 3 grand daughters coached city league softball n basketball for the past 15 years. No sm omg how do I keep up lol. Now I'm going to seem I'm bouncing around, but just bare with me, there is a purpose for that. FF to march 2021 the trial. We started picking jurors at 9am on a Wed. By lunchtime we had them picked opening statement began at 1pm. Day2 It was clear what thejudge expected from the jurors as he gave them their instructions before dismissing them for lunch& deliberation 45mins is how long it took the jurors to get their food, eat & return with a verdict. NOT GUILTY. The judge n da heard the same thing as the jurors. There never was an investigation the investigator did not do his job for his personal gain &at the cost of my family, my name, my reputation there is not a worse defamation of character that u can do to a man. I referred a criminal homicide charge to Mr. DeKray. His office left no stone unturned. They were well prepared for trial. Mr. Jocuns was an amazing attorney for me. I got into a car accident while drinking so I was charged with operating while intoxicated causing injury and he was there at every court hearing did everything he could for me. The prosecutor was trying to give me a year in jail and mr. Jocuns got it down to 6 months in jail and 6 months on tether. Been out of jail for over four months now and I only have a little less than two months left on my tether and he has kept in contact with me to make sure I didn't need anything and that everything was going okay. If you're considering attorney he is excellent attorney you should definitely talk with him.

In June I found myself in a situation that required me to find legal counsel. My husband got physical with me following an argument. I ran to our bedroom and called 911 as he put his hand through our door. The Ottawa County Sheriff’s office showed up after what seemed like an eternity. When they attired, my husband met them outside. To date I cannot comprehend what the the deputies were thinking because I was arrested after calling for help. Apparently my husband’s lies convinced her that I assaulted him and my daughter. He even added that I racked a 9mm and “almost” pointed it at him…
I was arrested and in jail for the night. I started to panic and was terrified about potentially losing my job and/or licensing through the state in addition to losing my CPL & 2nd amendment rights. I was initially charged with felony felonious assault and a few other things that I do not recall.
I started looking & researching who to hire to sort this mess out.
Attorneys need to be convincing. I had talked to a dozen of them & all I heard were the same lines- like a salesman working for commission. A few of them sat ok in my stomach. But that was the problem… they were ok. When there is so much on the line mediocre is not what I was willing to accept.
I reached out to a trusted attorney that I had worked with previously on a civil matter from Warner Norcross + Judd. He referred me to Michael Bartish. I began digging into reviews & searching for articles about him. I reached out to SBBL Law. It didn’t take long for Michael to return my call.
After speaking with Michael over the phone I knew he was the guy. He was direct yet empathetic. He listened to what was important to me and the fears I had. He was reassuring without over promising any sort of result. He never said any of the lines I’d heard from the previous attorneys who seemed to not be genuine.
Over the course of about 2 months Michael walked me through the process, explained everything so that I understood. I could feel he was vested in this fight with me from our first court appearance. His presence and confident demeanor brought me peace at some of the most emotional times I had faced in a long time. Michael included me in every aspect of the case and looked to me to make the decisions on plea deals that were offered. He supported my decision to go to trial. He still never promised a winning result but his confidence gave me the confidence to fight this.
I had never watched a jury selection. The jurors likely never were jurors before. Watching Michael educate the jurors while assessing their ability to be impartial for the anticipated trial was nothing short of impressive. He has power in his voice & not the sort that’s disrespectful or arrogant.
At hearings Michael made clear arguments backed by law. He crushed every move the prosecution attempted. He has passion and speaks with a dominance you only see with true experience.
The prosecution ended up dismissing the case because any headway they attempted was shattered by Michael. This was a huge win for us!!! Michael and I joked that it was a bit disappointing not going to trial. Watching him in the courtroom and knowing his abilities I felt it would be a sure win and that it would put the prosecutor in his place even more.
If I ever need a defense attorney he 100% will be my guy without hesitation! I would recommend him to anyone needing help with a case.

Heath and this firm failed on every level. Heath failed to prepare his client to speak with the Judge as written in his contract. Heath failed to keep his clients informed of the cost as stated in his contract. I would strongly urge you to find a different firm.
