I had the pleasure of speaking to Mr. Twohig today. I was calling on behalf of a friend who is in need of an attorney. We are out of town and he quickly let me know that he was too far distance wise to help (8 hours) However, he talked with me on the telephone for quite a bit and gave me some great advice as well as important insight into what my friend may or may not be dealing with .Also gave names of other attorneys that may help. Two weeks before we were set to move across country, I was served with a combination of papers that would not allow my son to move with me. I showed up to our first meeting nervous and a complete wreck, but I left feeling at ease and confident. Everything about our case was unusually rushed, but had you been sitting in the stands- you never would’ve guessed that Clarke had less than a week to prepare for our first court date. He took the time to listen and understand what I wanted, and then he fought hard for exactly that. There wasn’t a single phone call or meeting that left me feeling like I was talking to another monkey in a suit who only cared about the money. I felt like Clarke truly cared about me, my family, and our case. We are now living happily across the country (my son included) and I can’t thank Clarke enough for all of the work he put in to make this happen. I hired Mr. Tibbits to represent me in a divorce. Which is a horrible thing to go through. I called Mr. Tibbits in a panic a few times, each time he listened and was straightforward and honest with me on why we could or couldn't present an issue in court. I am very disturbed with unethical manner in which my family was "represented " for lack of a better term. I would suggest not paying upfront because then the job is already done with nothing left to work for. Very disheartening for the amount of money and stress. If I would have stayed with this firm I would not be free right now. I had better luck and support from the public defender.

Ms. Hoerner was a huge disappointment. At first she returned calls and told us all the things she was going to file. Three months went by and she stopped communicating as much and filed NOTHING!!! She's more interested in her podcast than her clients. A typical NJ lawyer. If your civil rights have been violated don't use her because she protects them. That is the truth. Stay away from this attorney. Completely fake. She deserves negative stars.

Katie was literally a life saver. I was accused of a crime I did not committed. My career, family, and innocence were on the line. The system tried to violate my constitutional rights. I engaged this firm to write a prenup 7 weeks before my wedding, and paid the full retainer. 3 times was given estimate when I would see a first draft that were all missed, and my calls and emails for were largely ignored. Because of this string-along I didn’t engage another firm, and had to go into my marriage without the prenup, which could cost me my house and delay my retirement by 5-10 years. I asked for a refund a week before my wedding after which I was sent a first draft with typos and some names of previous clients that were not replaced. This experience brought out the worst in me, with so much anger that I was lucky that my now wife still wanted to get married. How I wish I never came across this lawyer. Eventually I did get a refund after the second request.

To anyone in need of an attorney like my husband and I were, I would HIGHLY recommend Kraut Law Group.
We were in desperate need of an attorney after coming home one day and receiving some disturbing information that could jeopardize my husband’s livelihood and future schooling prospects. He searched online for hours trying to get in touch with a lawyer or anyone that could offer him legal advice and the ONLY group that he was able to get through to was Kraut Law Group.
They had us come in immediately the next day. We were both a bit worried since neither of us had ever had to use a lawyer before, but our fears were soon put to rest when we started working with the associates at Kraut Law Group. Everyone was incredibly personable and professional. Our expectations were blown away by how attentive they were in keeping us up to date every step of the way as things developed in our case. I have known Rachna for years, working with her on multiple occasions when she was with the Jane Doe Advocacy Center. Therefore, when I decided to get a divorce, it was a no-brainer to go to this acquaintance I had known for years. At first, my experience with The Lien Law Firm was excellent. You can make payments in installments, but they will start the proceedings once everything is collected. When I was able to get an in-person visit, everything went well.
Since 10/23/2022, I have been diligently pursuing my divorce proceedings.
Unfortunately, she was unavailable to take my call almost every time I called the office. I would leave a message for a callback, which I rarely received on multiple occasions. There were a couple of phone appointments that she missed, and I never received a callback.
The client portal is a joke because I have sent messages to Mrs. Lien, the office staff, or both and never received a response.
It has taken a little longer because initially, I had a paternity test involved in my divorce proceedings, and they would need to try and serve her. This was difficult because she was not living in the same state as I, and I did not have an exact address for her.
Eventually, divorce paperwork was completed in June 2023—multiple attempts to contact afterward without responses.
On October 24, 2023, I had a phone appointment, and she said she could not find my wife to serve her. I provided updated info that I was able to find, and she said I could hire a PI in Florida, which could cost me a couple thousand dollars more. She also provided me with the information of three aggressive lawyers if I still wanted to try to track her down.
On January 25, 2024, I went to the courthouse on other business. While there, I checked out the status of my case, and I was informed that it was on the dismissal pile. I made a follow-up appointment in February, which she missed.
I eventually was able to get an in-person appointment on June 14, 2024, and decided to forgo the paternity test and finish the divorce. I had to refile the paperwork because it was dismissed in January. She said it was left on the dismissal pile on purpose to see if my wife would come out of the woodwork and be caught and served.
It is now September 12, 2024, and multiple attempts to contact her since the June meeting have failed. I am still in limbo on whether she has resubmitted my divorce paperwork or not.
This has been an extremely frustrating and draining experience. Another reason not to get married.

I have had a few different lawyers through child custody and modification cases and he is by far the best I’ve ever had super quick to communicate with you gets the job done doesn’t dawdle very reasonably priced very honest and just a good person in general he is not one of those money, hungry lawyers he actually cares ! Jason Thompson and his team are the most professional and corteous legal team. At a time in my life when I was struggling, I got in some trouble and was charged with Theft in the second degree. Naturally, I was scared and anxious and was unsure how I was going to deal with the legal process. My friend recommended Thompson Law out of Salem. Even though this was an hour drive from my home, I decided to have a consultation based on the glowing review. I hired Jason on the spot. From our first meeting I could tell I was in capable hands and was never disappointed.
He explained the entire process and every possible scenario to worst case to best. While I was ready to just have the whole thing over with, Jason encouraged me to not give up. Some years ago, in 2003, Mr. Mooney represented me when I was on a course that would've led to a different future for me.
Later, he represented me in a reconsideration case with Judge Whalen who he had to track down his schedule, since he was retired Judge, and time it so that I could get in front of him. Judge Whalen reconsidered, which was the first step to something bigger.
Mr. Mooney did not have to do this, but because he did, I was accepted into a top 100 business school, completed my MBA, and started a successful technology company.
His work changed the trajectory of my life. I now have four daughters: 19 (in college), 6, 4, and 3. They are proud of their dad. I have also won business awards, been featured in articles, and work with Fortune 500 companies. I am here today because of Mr. Mooney's work and taking the time to help.

Worse experience with an attorney. Communication is horrible, front office staff is rude and false promises made throughout the entire process.
My personal opinion would be to save your money and get a public defender. The only thing this man did that helpful was show up to court when we had work.
Last day of court a man incarcerated was last standing and Randall was not present as he was in a different court however, did not communicate this to anyone else either that he was representing this day.
For the price charged it is definitely not worth the money to hire. Save your money for the fees and fines you will more than likely have to pay in the end anyways.

Mr. Colbert was very strategic throughout the whole process!! My best friend was faced with two assault felony charges in the name of self defense. If convicted, he would have been sentenced with over a decade. Damon represented my best friend during trial with smart and strategic arguments/ proposals. Keeping the courtroom well informed of every detail that led to what took place. My friends and family were able to feel confident and comfortable, as we watched his representation. Which was a relief because leading up to trial we didn’t understand Mr. Colbert’s strategy or approach. But we chose to believe in him, and it all made sense in the end! My best friend walked out of the courtroom with all charges dropped, after months of incarceration! I highly recommend Mr. Colbert, especially for high level cases!

The Team at the Vern McCray Law Firm were a great asset for us. We met with Roxana Manesh for a consult about a restraining order that was trying to keep us off our own property. The people were trying to claim my fathers property who has recently passed as there own and were using this to try to keep us away. After hiring her she went straight to work. I cannot recommend The Law Office of Blair Zwillman highly enough. When my then 19-year old son got his only traffic ticket a few years ago, Mr. Zwillman pulled off a miracle. My husband and I are both non-practicing attorneys and almost lost our minds when we sat this ticket. It was over two feet long and contained 6 or 7 separate violations adding up to a more than $700 fine and so many points that my son almost lost his newly minted driver’s license. The NJ cop who pulled him over was clearly on a mission to more than exceed his quota that mouth as many of the violations he was cited for were clearly discretionary and over the top.
Long story short, we contested the ticket and Mr. Zwillman represented my son in traffic court. He vastly exceeded our expectations and got the ticket down to about $100 fine and just a few points. As a former traffic court judge myself, I can attest to Mr. Zwillman’s incredible skills in working with prosecutors and judges to achieve the best possible results for his clients. He is one of the best attorneys I have ever had the pleasure to work with.
