Update: My husband passed away and I needed to sell the house. I decided to go back to see Scott for the closing again. He is still as kind as ever. The whole staff is. I will always recommend Scott. Thank you for everything! What an amazing experience! We just moved from Michigan back to the beach. This is our first time purchasing a home here and we were so nervous! I tell you what though, everyone at this office made us feel right at home and so special. When we spoke, all of their attention was on us. It felt so reassuring to know that we weren't just another number coming through their door. Scott was incredible to talk to and patient and excited to tell us and explain things to us! We settled on our house through Scott B. Umstead’s office. Everything went super smooth, everyone in the office was very helpful and very pleasant to work with. Every time we called with a question or concern someone was always there to help. The day of closing when we sat down with Scott he was very thorough and took the time to explain everything. We especially liked the welcome video that Scott sent us when we first became clients.
