I want to say working with Scott Umstead was an amazing experience, especially since this was the first time ever buying a home & doing it alone on top of that suffering from high anxiety. From the beginning, receiving a personalized video message from Mr Umstead, (which I thought was that absolute coolest thing ever) introducing himself , welcoming me , assuring me that himself as well as his staff is happy to help with any questions or concerns I may have at anytime, also going through the walkthrough of the process we will be going through together . It just made it so much easier. By the time the closing day came I felt so comfortable with no anxiety, which made it the experience much more exciting to learn more. I got a mortgage through Wells Fargo and unfortunately, it was a nightmare. Jen at Scotts office was so helpful and called the bank to help understand what was going on. At closing, they explained everything in detail and we felt confident regarding taxes, payments, important info, etc. upon leaving. Highly recommend them!
