Very good experience

Very pretty office and the staff was very helpful handling the sale of my condo.

Love working with Scott and his team. I'm a Realtor and recommend working with Umstead Law for my clients but also use his services myself. My bank was shocked at how quickly the team got the job done!

Scott B. Umstead and his staff did a wonderful job guiding us through the home buying process. From the initial contact with his staff, they were professional, courteous and willing to do whatever it takes to insure the transaction went seamlessly. On closing day we met with Scott and he made us feel at ease and explained each document to insure we were informed and totally comfortable. We will definitely use Scott on future purchases and recommend him to family and friends.

When we met Scott, I felt like I knew him for years. Such a down to earth person, friendly and very informative. It was nice to talk about things unrelated to our transaction. The real estate transaction was made easy by Scotts staff and the actual closing was just simple and easy. The office is awesome, warm and cozy. I also liked that Scott gave us tips that we need to be aware of, which is extremely helpful being a 1st time owner in SC. Would highly recommend to anyone needing representation. Scott and his team are amazing! Scott is very knowledgeable, personable & professional, which made it so amazing to work with him and his staff. My husband and I were referred to Attorney Scott Umstead's law firm to handle our closing by our realtor. It was a great recommendation. From the start of the process to the end, his office provided thorough details of the process and were there to answer any questions along the way. Scott was even available to answer questions that we had regarding rental agreements since were looking to rent our vacation home as a short-term rental. On closing day, we had a chance to meet some of his team along with Scott for the first time and they were as pleasant and professional as we witness the weeks prior to our closing date and the décor of the office was fabulous. The closing was on time and Scott made sure we understood the information in the closing documents. He also pointed out rules and some regulations that we needed to be aware of since we live out of state but were purchasing our vacation home there.
