They represent slumlords in court.

I was taken to court. On the last court date I had COVID and could not go. They lied on the paperwork and added $6000.00 more than what I owe. Now I have reported them to the board of ethics and the BBB. And if I have to I will sue them for the incorrect balance. They are crooks and thieves.

I love how they are taking a COVID nurse and soon to be Midwife to court over something from six years ago that we didn’t even know about! We got one notice about it and asked for a review since we were in the midst of a global pandemic and I was out of work. Then we get a court summons. Didn’t even give us a chance to pay it before adding interest and taking it to court. They also don’t accept payment over the phone, what the hell is that? You can tell these are greedy evil little men, and the vultures who work for them are no better.

Fantastic collection service! I've used them for years and will continue to do so. I've read some of the other reviews with great amusement here that are written by the non-paying deadbeats who were "stung" in court and ordered to pay. Should have paid their bills. Great service and people. Gary Lester hits a home run every time!

Building is unmarked with no signs to let you know it's Mayfield & Lester. To be an attorney's office you would think they would keep the appearance of the building up, but it was dirty and honestly dreadful looking. I have not personally experienced their services and was only there as a favor to someone to handle a payment so I can't speak on that. The look of the building was just suprising to me. I didn't have to wait long to be helped, but another girl that pulled up said she usually has to wait at least 20-30 minutes for help and was surprised to find the wait time wasnt long at all.

They make it very difficult to actually pay them. There is no online option and you can't pay with your bank card. Thankfully my bank allows me to set up check by mail directly from the app because I don't keep checks and I don't want to take time off work to go way out of town to get to them.

Can't even pay over the phone. 1960s lawyer office. Not good people.

They garnished my check without telling me. They refused to work with me on payments and then started garnishing my check.
