Don’t do it. Absolutely screwed me on my MDA! As a 25 year old going through a divorce, not knowing better or what to look for when it comes to a divorce. You expect your attorney to have your best interest. Yancy did not. 5,000 retainer that is non refundable even if it is wasn’t all used. Clearly an attorney that has no money and just likes to take yours and take you for granted. I am very disappointed in this attorney and would not recommend him to my worst enemy. He should be sued for malpractice.

I recently had a first visit with Mr. Belcher regarding a traffic violation issue in the Mount Juliet area. Without going into detail, I can honestly say that I was very impressed and comfortable with Mr. Belcher's level of knowledge about the subject, as well as his level of familiarity and comfort with the innerworkings of the local judicial proceedings. He gave me practical insights into how my case could or would be proceeded with, including reasonable expectations. I would have little hesitation about proceeding forward with Mr. Belcher as a competent and effective attorney based on my own interactions with him. As an aside, his office is fairly easy to get to, off of a major street, but not in an overly-congested area. It also appears more "down-to-earth" and unassuming, which I personally prefer.

HIRE AT YOUR OWN RISK! That is IF YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR $$$A HORRIBLE ATTORNEY! He went to court for me 1 time! Did not hear back from his office for 3 months! I emailed them 11 MONTHS AGO to STOP WITH MY CASE & Return my unused retainer! I STILL DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING! Still waiting...When I contacted the Actual BAR association they said " That is Not right, you need to file a complaint with us against him, you should of had your balance within 1 month"

Great advice and super nice staff! Helped me out a lot!

I hired him to write a simple letter and have it delivered to my business partner..He made me give him a $2000 retainer fee which he assured me the difference would be refunded after the letter was written and delivered. It took him 6 weeks to finally complete the letter and he never even delivered it. I asked him to supply be with fee sheet of the work he claimed to have done and refund me the difference. .He refused to give me any refund or fee sheet, so I contacted the Board of professional responsibility to step in with the case. It wasn't until they got involved when he decided to finally supply me with a fee sheet. He claimed over 12 phone calls which were never made between us and fabricated many other fees to justify him stealing my entire $2000 . I supplied the board with my phone records to prove that there was no communication between us that he claimed and he still refused to give me a refund.We are at a stand still..bottom line ..DO NOT USE THIS GUY...HE WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY AND GET NOTHING DONE!!!
