I would imagine people would have a lot of negative things to say about a company that deals with debt collection but I have not had an issue with the Hill Firm at all. They have been open to working with me, responsive and honest.

They don’t answer the phone, take way more than they’re supposed to leaving your account in the negatives. When you ask them to email your account activity and balance, all the dates are wrong. They were supposed to been stop taking money out my account and when you call them to notify them, all of a sudden there’s nothing to be done. They also need to work on their attitudes, lady hung up in my face because I kept asking her questions about my account! RUDE!

I chose Ms. Hearn-Rushton from an online search, having no referrals. I had called many lawyers already and most either didn't return my call or spoke to me as though I was just another interruption in their day. I called Ms. Hearn-Rushton's office late in the day and she actually answered the phone herself. We began speaking as though we had known one another for years! She was so compassionate and such an amazing listener! Even over the phone, I could tell she was actually LISTENING TO ME. She doesn't practice in the area that we needed a lawyer, but to my pleasant surprise she didn't merely wish me luck and get off the phone, she spoke with me for almost an entire hour, trying to help me find a lawyer that could help me! She also suggested helpful information such as how to lay out a timeline of events surrounding the case so that when I speak with another lawyer the conversation would be comprehensive and easily understood. She went above and beyond for me and my family, never having met me, and never charging me for the time she spent helping me. I hope I never need a lawyer again, but if I do Ms. Hearn-Rushton is it! THANK YOU! You helped us more than you could ever know!

Every time I call someone is picking up and hanging up. Can never get thru to anyone.

This firm is only interested in one thing and that is money. Even though people may have lost their jobs and going through hard times due to covid, they don't care about the clients. They feed on scaring innocent people. They have their own site to set up payments to force the payer to give out more information than they should. They charged me 4x the amount I owed and the court fees way before the court date. They do not work with you. We are on this earth for a short time. You cant take your money with you. It’s called GREED! Cant take that with you on your judgment day. Unless you want to go to a hot place.

They refused to work with me. I would leave zero stars if at all possible.

As a first time young divorcee, I don’t have an idea about divorce. When my ex spouse served me with summons, I was nervous and don’t know what to do. I called a couple of law offices to inquire but, only attorney T. Leigh work with my case based on my goal and financial budget. Throughout the case she made sure that I get what is fair and right. She is not just an attorney but also feels like a family member that wants what is best for you. She have a delicate voice that you don’t feel pressured. I was served papers. I have tried calling multiple times and emailing multiple times. No one ever responds. They don’t want to work with you at all. I’m filing bankruptcy and I just need more information. And if you try to call them before you get served, you won’t ever hear back. They want you to get served so that you can screwed in the end. Edit: I sent another email and left another message on voicemail. Their reply “We can’t give you any information on your account since you’ve retained an attorney.” I need the information to enter on the bankruptcy debt questionnaire. This. Place. Is. A. Joke.

Leigh was caring and thoughtful throughout the process. She was accessible and responsive.
