I am the parent of Jordan Norris, the young man who was tased more than 40 times by the Cheatham Co. Sheriff’s Dept. We contacted David Weissman and Benjamin Raybin to discuss suing the sheriff’s dept. I had previously contacted 4 other firms and had been turned down. Mr. Weissman & Mr. Raybin saw the photo evidence of Jordan’s tasing burns and immediately scheduled a consultation with us. Several months and several meetings later, we have settled this suit very much to our liking. Throughout this experience, Mr. Weissman & Mr. Raybin worked diligently and professionally, with the highest standards, keeping us informed and answering every single question or concern. We never felt left out, or wondered what was going on. Mr. Weissman came to my house, personally, following my car accident and handled all aspects of the case himself, without having to go thru a paralegal at any point. I initially interviewed him because of his credentials I saw online but selected him after talking with him about his willingness to go to court, if needed, and not just settle the case. Also he assured me he would be reachable when needed which he always was. That is saying a lot. He was friendly and confident and always repeated any information I didn't understand with a good attitude. David Raybin is an attorney who knows every nuance of the legal system. He is very passionate about the clients he represents and goes above and beyond to achieve the best possible outcome. I contacted David when I was being threatened with felony indictment for a first-time, nonviolent drug offense. He was the only attorney to answer my call (out of four) and immediately provided a thorough evaluation of my circumstances and clear description of his rates. I believe his reputation and character played a large part in the respect afforded to him and subsequently me. At times late into the case I was a bit unsure about the status of everything, but I felt confident that he was on top of it all. With David's help I successfully avoided criminal charges. I believe his history of experience with the people involved was incredibly important. He has a connection with the District Attorney and spoke to him personally about my character: a good person who made a mistake. Without David's counsel I may have ended up with a misdemeanor indictment: meaning more expensive legal fees, a criminal record, and punishment and/or probation. I (and my friends and family) can't thank him enough.

Rachel helped me during the sale of my small business.
