I have been working with Schaffer Law for about a year, having been referred to her by my personal banker at Bank of Nashville. I have worked with large law firms most of my career but did not want to pay those kinds of prices for my personal work. Rachel met me near my home instead of my having to come all the way into town: she listened and took notes, and in the end gave me exactly what I needed. I recently had to use her again because of problems with someone else's attorney, and she got results quickly in a calm, professional manner. I have her on retainer for all my personal legal needs. I have worked with Rachel for several years on a variety of legal matters. She has always been professional and very capable. She spends time to make legal matters understandable for those of us not in the legal world. I would highly recommend her!

My wife was dropping off my daughter at school, and our son was in the car as well, when a truck rear ends her vehicle. All three were injured to some extent, with my daughter being the worse via a concussion. I actually work for a law firm; however, we do not practice injury law. Therefore, I contacted another lawyer from the area that knew the best lawyers in the Nashville area. David Weissman was his top pick, without question. I had him give me his top three picks because I didn't think our case would be worth the time of his top choice. But David nonetheless took our case. We met with him at his office within a week of me contacting him. I knew instantly why David's reference came with such high regard. He was extremely personable and a noteworthy professional. I could tell he knew ALL aspects of his business. I had a lot of questions and he had the answers. I knew very quickly David Weissman was the real deal, I also knew he really didn't have to take our case. The fact that he did was all the more impressive. And throughout the case, he kept us apprised of all proceedings and always responded to any questions immediately. The other parties insurance must have sensed they were dealing with a true litigator because they did not try to pick a fight with him. Smart move on there part. Also, because our daughter was a minor, the law required us to go before a judge as part of the process, and David was in charge through the whole thing; in fact, the other attorney pretty much just deferred everything to him. If me or my family ever need legal help in the future, David will be the first person I call. I highly recommend David Weissman as well as his excellent staff.

Schaffer Law Firm PLLC has been instrumental in launching the Nashville Citizens' Orchestra. In February 2016, the firm worked pro bono to obtain our 501c3 (non-profit) status. We consulted with Rachel because we needed some logistical help with our new business. She was very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable.
