I had an accident back in September where me and my children were t-boned and the other driver got out and ran. We had only been here for a couple months so I reached out to Godsey Martin and that was the worse decision ever. I have not gotten consistent feedback from my attorney or my case manager. The only constant fixture in my case has been my intake worker Christopher R, when I say he has gone above and beyond I mean it. I had broke down and cried from the sheer agony of this case. My daughter suffered a broken jaw from this incident and I have 7 herniated disc 3 in my neck and 4 in my back 2 of which are sitting on nerves and has caused me some pain in my hand. I can't wait until this is over if it ever gets over with. I left a message last week message and still have yet to hear anything back. I wish my previous case manager Leilani was still there because she was awesome, she followed up and answered my calls in a timely manner. This new case manager Selena introduced herself to me and I have not heard from her. My attorney Josie is oblivious to my case anytime I do talk to her. I have requested a new attorney and that still has not happened. This whole situation has been a nightmare down here in Texas.

My family obtained this law firm in May of last year after a car accident . We had some issues that arose with communication during the process . This was brought to the attention of Lynda Abney & Carol Davis with the negotiation team. These ladies stopped & gave my case their full attention . I received an update on my case for three days straight . On the fourth day i had a confirmation notice that was my check was being sent over night. My case was not your average accident case due to minors were included . These ladies fought with the insurance company as much as they could to get my family what they deserved . I would definitely refer this law firm to anyone who has been in a car accident. Thank You team Godsey Martin you rock !

It has now been 3 years. The lawyer has received checks from the insurance companies and cashed them without my knowledge or consent. None of my bills have been paid. I have been dropped as a patient by my doctor because of the outstanding bill. There are bills being reported on my credit report. Call the office and keep getting the run around.Would not recommend.************************ It has been 2 years and 6 months since a truck tboned me. I have not received adequate treatment, still in pain. Bill collection is calling asking for payment. They say they have not heard from my lawyer. I have not heard from my lawyer in 6 months and that was after I had to call them after not hearing from them for several months. Called the person handling the case. No answer, voicemail full. Please stop advertising for new clients if you can't take care of the existing ones.

Definitely some ups and downs- but overall great experience. I’m not going to get into the details of my case but it was pretty clear cut. In the beginning everything was going extremely smoothly. The stream of communication was un-hindered. As my case progressed, my case manager was constantly updating me and keeping me in the loop. Then one week I was having trouble getting the medical attention I needed I could not get ahold of someone and was told someone would call me back I was contacted by an employee of the firm named “Juan”. He was able to get everything on track . Over the remainder of my case, he ensured that I stayed within the loop; and now everything is worked out, and I’ve received my settlement. Thank you Godsey Martin I hope I never get hit again but if I do you are on my speed dial.

I got in a minor car accident in November of 2019 and since my husband worked at the company I choose Godsey Martin to handle my case. For the first three months everything went smoothly. After that I only heard from my attorney Susan Smith quarterly for the next TWO years. In that two years every time I had to initiate contact although I requested at least a monthly update about my case. She never made a move on my case unless I called. There was always an excuse for the excessive length of time. She' even told me she had more important/pressing cases or clients and often blamed/placed much of the responsibilities on her Paralegals. In the end she stalled my case, withheld VERY important information from me, did NOT keep me updated and after over six complaints got nasty/condescending with me.She also made decisions on my case against my wishes. She taunted me as she purposely stalled receipt of my settlement check and even LIED about receiving my funds. When I went over her head, she got even more vindictive and unprofessional with me over the phone. Had it not been for my husband's knowledge of the process & Juan (her higher up)I would still be waiting for for my check right now. I am so hurt and disappointed as I was trying to support a black owned company after having a prior similar bad experience with another personal injury law firm. Unfortunately I will NEVER do business with them again as it took over 2 years to settle, and the lack of interest in my case. I would 100% recommend going to another attorney who will get you real results faster and has MORE PROFESSIONAL attorneys. If you do choose them, save yourself the time and frustration and DON'T accept Susan Smith as your representation.

I cannot say enough good on how they handled and settled and still are working to make sure it is done correctly. In fact a claim that I was told was impossible to get awarded on cast iron pipes. Very impressed with the way this process has been handled. If you have a legal issue and want a firm that can take your headaches away HIRE THEM!!!

Receptionists are extremely rude and don’t have answers to anything. I was told there’s no suporvisor, it’s been 2 weeks and I haven’t got a follow up from the attorney or anyone since day one. Can I at least get professionalism if I can’t get a follow up?

A rear ended car accident turned into a qtr million dollar win! Donovan (attorney) & his team are beyond amazing! Priscilla, Perla, Carla, Chelsea and Romana are the best, seriously!! I put my trust in them and they far exceeded my expectations! They took my case without any upfront payment and stood by my side as long as it took to get a positive case outcome. I was actually nervous.....in the beginning. After the first few conversations, I knew I was in good hands. They took care of everything from medical bills to PT without me coming out of pocket upfront and being treated like family instead of a client was an added bonus.
