We just finished the house buying process with Ashley Jamieson and could not be happier with her support, communication, and expertise. On a quick trip to Austin, Ashley showed us all around town and got a good feel for the type of home and neighborhood we were looking for and really gave us a wonderful introduction to all that Austin has to offer. Armed with that info, she consistently sent us listings of interest. We had heard nightmarish stories about the competitiveness of the Austin market. Ashley's knowledge and familiarity with the area and the market here put those fears to rest. When we found our house, Ashley was with us every step of the way and we are so thankful for her help. From our first contact with Ashley to closing on our home took almost 7 months, of which 3 months were long-distance. Importantly, we did all of our house hunting with our son along for the ride, who was only 6 months old when we started. Ashley was great at working with his schedule and including him in the process. It never felt like a hinderance to have him along. We highly recommend Ashley. We really could not have done this without her!

My wife and I were relocating to Austin from the SF Bay Area and we were looking for someone that could help us find a home. The catch was that we were first time home buyers looking remotely, and we wanted to get into a home quickly. Thankfully we found Mark Strüb through online reviews and he helped us achieve all of this. His top notch service included: helping us narrow down our search area down to the neighborhood remotely to advance our search, constant communication, and giving his honest opinion throughout the process. After two whirlwind trips to Austin and three FaceTime tours over three months we were able to close on our house! We could not have done any of this without Mark's guidance and support throughout the entire process. Thank you Mark and your team for everything!

I cannot say enough good things about the experience I had working with Mark during MY FIRST :) home purchase. Mark was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and honest when it came to the housing market. Being local to Austin, he knew all the ins and outs about each neighborhood and helped me determine the best area for me as a young professional. He took time to understand what my needs were as a home buyer, what the top priorities were on my list, stayed within my budget, and showed me all the homes that were pertinent to my lifestyle. Every meeting we had, he came prepared with a list of houses to view, knew almost every listing agent, and one agent even told Mark how well respected he was in the community and what a pleasure it was to meet him. That was great to hear. This experience far exceeded my expectations, and no doubt, makes me want to buy another home :) I would HIGHLY recommend Mark to my closest friends and family because I very much trust him, and I know that he is genuinely invested in helping people find their dream home regardless of price, size, location etc. Mark's passion and heart for Real Estate truly shows through his work ethic. I can honestly say that through this whole experience, not only did I gain a beautiful home I gained an awesome friend. I definitely look forward to working with him and his staff in the future !!!!

My spouse and I contacted Strub through a strong recommendation from my coworker. We worked with Alex Tapp to find a home in the South Austin-Buda-Kyle area, and Alex has fantastic! We already expected our realtor to be responsive, accessible, and knowledgeable--those traits should be a given! What we appreciated the most about Alex was his great sense of humor, his flexibility, and his all around great attitude. At one point during a long morning of house shopping, my spouse found a too-good-to-be-true short-sale house on the market. Alex quickly arranged a showing while driving there. Upon entering the house, we realized our mistake. The house was sketchy, from it's boarded up back door, the mysteriously missing door frames, the subfloor-only first floor, and the inexplicably faulty electrical upstairs to the several people in various forms of consciousness just hanging out in the dark while we toured around. I'll never forget laughing until tears welled up in my eyes watching Alex bravely stampede into each room to assure our safety, a star of his own crime drama. I fully expected Alex to pull out a bullet proof vest at any time during that house tour. Needless to say, we did not put an offer on that house, but that moment so accurately depicts our impressions of Strub and Alex. Up for anything. Tenacious. Guiding us through a scary and frustrating process. We HIGHLY recommend Strub, and especially Alex Tapp!

In the Spring, we learned that our family of 4 would be moving to Austin from the San Francisco Bay Area with my husband's company. We interviewed a few realtors in the area, and "clicked" the most with Mark Strub. He's very well versed in all areas of Austin and genuinely seemed interested in learning about us to know more about what neighborhoods would be a good fit for our family. We had one long weekend to explore homes (Memorial Day weekend) and with just 3 weeks notice, Mark cleared his schedule on that holiday weekend to spend the bulk of it with us. He made sure we got a chance see all of the areas of Austin we were interested in and all of the homes we liked online - and we had a great time with him as well! After our visit, an unforeseen change in plans occurred when one of our kids finally got a spot in our favorite school and we had to do a 180 with our home search. Mark never got frustrated and just rolled with it, setting up more homes to show us in the new area close to the school (even on facetime!) and spending more time with my husband to see homes when he flew down for just a day. At the end of the day, we ended up putting an offer on a home that I had never seen in person (my husband had) but I trusted both of them immensely, including Mark, as by then he knew us and our style and needs quite well (now that is saying a LOT!) He helped us put in a competitive offer and land our dream home. Even when closing got dicey due to some inspections that weren't being completed in a timely manner from the seller's side, he was on top of it, making the right calls and getting the right people aware of what was needed to close on time. He was always responsive via phone/email/text to any questions we had along the way and was just all around great to work with. He specializes in relocations and was able to work along side our relocation company (which requires a whole other set of paperwork and nuances) without any issues. We are so thankful to have worked with him and would recommend him and his team! When I walked through the house for the first time (after closing), I just kept thinking "they nailed it". Well done, Strub Residential. We are so thankful for you!

PLEASE be smart and call Strub Residential! Our experience was so easy, and so wonderful - I never expected something as seemingly complicated as buying a house to be SO smooth! Mark and Christy were amazing throughout the entire process. They are patient but quick when needed, responsive, such experts, and are so caring throughout the process. They both really seem connected to the lifestyle of consulting and guiding people to reach their goals. There is no doubt that we will use them for ANY AND EVERY Real Estate transaction we do in Austin. They have really become dear friends, and it's obvious that this is their calling, and they cherish it very much.

Mark helped us buy 2 properties this year. Both deals were odd and difficult, and Mark's skills are what made it happen. We plan to buy more properties in the coming year, and we will be working with Mark again for sure. Now for some details: Mark is strategic. He is always thinking a few steps ahead, and his plans always showed clear thinking, a focus on our goal, and a risk profile that matched ours. Mark is savvy. We encountered some truly unique and dangerous scenarios that no one (not us, and not him either) had ever seen before, and Mark's experience and sophistication helped us navigate them safely. Mark is connected. As our projects developed, we needed the help of financiers and legal counsel and tradesmen. Mark was able to give us excellent contacts. Mark is easy to work with. He's very friendly and responsive and flexible and available.

My fiance and I recently purchased our first home together and I'm so glad we had Strub Residential there to help us every step of the way. Not only was Mark an amazing realtor who was able to guide us through the market to find our dream home, but everyone in his office was helpful, courteous and willing to go out of their way to help us when we needed it. There were several times when we decided we wanted to look at a property at the last minute, and there was always someone willing to meet with us and show us around! I feel extremely lucky to have found Strub Residential and will refer any family and friends their way in the future. And, on a more personal note about Mark Strub himself, what a huge help! We put in our offer the first day our house went on the market and ended up being one of three offers! Mark was able to guide us through the process and the house is now ours! Even afterward, he's been a major help in remodeling. Because we purchased an older home, we needed/need to do a lot of work. Because Mark has remodeled his own home and knows the market so well, he's been able to guide us in what would provide the most resell value, and who we can trust to do a good job on restoring our original windows, hardwood, etc. Honestly, I could think of a better place to go when looking to purchase a home in the Austin area!

I would give Mark 10 stars if it were an option. I was completely new to the homebuying process and had no idea what I was doing. Luckily with Mark, I didn't have to. He walked me through the entire process and made it SO much easier than I ever thought it would be. He's very no-pressure and totally understands the emotions behind finding the home that's right for you. I highly recommend him!!!

We met Mark when he was the Realtor for the family we bought our first home from. Shortly after we signed our buyer's contract our own realtor went MIA and it was like pulling teeth to get questions answered after all was said and done. I ended up contacting Mark to answer questions and he was always super helpful and kind even though there was absolutely nothing in it for him. Since the purchase of our home, he's answered other questions for us about our home value, house upgrades, and property taxes. He even sent a detailed spreadsheet to help us fight our property tax battle this year (which we won!). He's a very genuine person who knows what he's doing in real estate. Needless to say, he will be our Realtor next time around! Thanks, Mark!

Unfortunately, Google doesn't allow 6-star reviews. My wife and I are relocating in Austin so I can attend the business school at UT. Mark spent several days with us in the competitive central Austin housing market and we found a wonderful house. We had an absolutely awful time with our lender, but Mark was with us every step of the way and went WAY above and beyond the call of duty to get us into our house. If you're looking for an agent who is kind, courteous, professional, unbelievably helpful, tenacious, and willing to do whatever it takes to make your deal work for you, Mark Strub is your man. Honestly, I can't recommend him highly enough. He is a WONDERFUL agent and he, no doubt, will be our agent for any deal we ever make in Austin.

If you're like me and a little uncertain about how this whole house-buying thing works, let alone how to survive this insane market, let me save you a step. You can skip the 'interviewing a bunch of agents to be sure you're finding the best representative' part. You can probably also skip the 'home buying for dummies' books, unless you're the curious sort. Just hire Mark and know you've made a genius decision. We had a very specific dream house - one that's extremely hard to find in Austin in our budget range (Craftsman bungalow, original built-ins, great lot, great neighborhood, etc.). So when our house came on the market, Mark had us in to view it in, like, an hour. He submitted an offer for us within the next ~3 hours. Over the fraught bidding war days, he built a good relationship with the seller's agent. So while our best and final offer was pretty awesome, it is Mark's work with the sellers that set us up as the obvious choice. BTW, there were ten offers. 10! Madness! This is why you hire Mark - he not only helps you navigate a really intense process, he helps the sellers *know* that selecting your offer is right for them. We actually met the seller's agent a few weeks after buying our home, and he specifically mentioned how impressed he had been with Mark! So it's probably enough to know that Mark is the guy to find and get you that one-and-only dream house despite a crazy housing market. But I also need to mention that Mark has great contacts and recommendations across all remodeling trades, advice when you ask for it, an unflappable and friendly demeanor, deep knowledge about Central Austin neighborhoods, a stellar reputation, and in general is just a great person. If we ever get the bar unpacked, we're going to invent a cocktail called the "überSTRUB" in his honor. It will taste like triumph.
